The lake
itself is ringed by an often busy jogging/ walking/ in-line skating track, and
has boat rentals, and Evans Swimming Pool. Located next to the
Woodland Park Zoo.
Green Lake is a fantastic place to go.
Walk, rollerblade, bike, run, or crawl around the almost 3 mile path that
circles the lake and unless it's late at night or pouring down rain, you won't
be alone.
It is a popular park for all of these activities as well as having a "kiddie"
wading pool, areas to throw around the frisbee, baseball, volleyball, and space
to just play around.
The summertime finds this park crowded with visitors planning to walk around
the lake, boat on the lake (there's a rental place for little boats), and
otherwise enjoy outdoor activities and sports at this cherished park.
