Farmers Market at Seattle's University District

The University District Farmers Market is Seattle's oldest and largest "farmers-only" neighborhood market. This Saturday market offers a place for more than 50 Washington State farmers to sell their fresh produce and quality products each week.

Washington Park Arboretum
A 230-acre park on the opposite shore of Union Bay from the University of Washington which manages the arboretum. 5,500 species of plants and gentle pathways amid azaleas and rhododendrons, and the largest collection of Japanese maples in the U.S.

Entrance is at Madison Street and Lake Washington Boulevard. Arboretum guides lead tours each Sunday at 1:00 p.m. from the Donald Graham Visitors Center, 2300 Arboretum Drive.
