My wife and I spent 3 nights at Hotel Bellevue over our anniversary. The room we
stayed in was beautiful, with a huge bathroom, a very comfortable king+ bed, and
an overall "upscale" feel. The hotel even gave us a very nice "happy
anniversary!" present that we saw upon check-in, which was certainly very much
appreciated. The valets were very helpful and professional, as was the
concierge, and the hotel's "town car" available for guests is the nicest car
I've ever ridden in. As others have noted, the attached club is extremely nice.
In terms of location, this hotel has an isolated,
away-from-the-hustle-and-bustle feel. If this is what you want (we did!), then
it's perfect, but just know that it's a much different feel than staying at a
nice hotel in downtown Seattle. We'd have absolutely no qualms about staying
here again!

We had a great stay here. The hotel has great staff and service. Our Premier
room was nicely equipped with a huge beautiful bathroom and was very quiet. The
high point of the hotel is your guest membership in the attached Bellevue
Athletic Club which is a wonderful facility. Our kids absolutely loved it.
Additional pros: good free wifi, easy parking ($12), free limo service within
Bellevue, great location close to downtown. The only real con is reduced
restaurant service on the weekends.

I am in the middle of a 4-night stay at Hotel Bellevue in Bellevue, Washington
and loving every minute. My husband has business in Seattle and our daughter is
in summer camp so I decided to tag along and work at the hotel while he worked.
I am a freelance writer.
We always stay at really nice hotels (4-star or better) and choose based on
location, amenities and aesthetics. I found the Hotel Bellevue searching for a
hotel with an outside pool in Seattle. Harder than I thought. But in the end,
not only did I find a hotel with an outdoor pool, but a beautiful small luxury
hotel attached to the nicest health club I've ever been to, the Bellevue Club.
As a guest at Hotel Bellevue, I have unlimited access to the club for my stay,
which I used today and it is a phenomenally run club with great equipment and
beautiful surroundings.
After working out, I've been able to work at the well-appointed desk in my
lovely King room, which also has an outdoor patio -which has been a nice thing
to have when stuck working in a hotel room all day. Seamless internet
connection, a fantastic sound system to play Pandora using my iphone as I work ,
complimentary coffee in the hotel lobby and a nicely stocked mini bar are all
adding up to one of the nicest "working" vacations I've had in a long time.
Yesterday when my wireless mouse stopped working, I went to the front desk ,
where the smiling woman there immediately produced two new AA batteries for me.
Crisis averted by professionals with a smile and "yes" attitude. And if I wanted
to get out of the room, they have a beautiful "adults only" library that would
be a great option to working in my room.
Since I don’t’ have a car, I was happy to realize the property has several
restaurants in the hotel and the club. I've had lunch at Splash, the Bellevue
Club's casual restaurant two days running and have been wowed by the food. The
Salmon Bowl is a must have. It's a lot, but is out of this world and I ate every
last bite. The soup of the day (salmon, carrot, red pepper and white bean) and
club sandwich I had the previous day was also everything I love about foodie
towns like Seattle - fresh quality ingredients prepared really well, no matter
how simple the meal.
A late night visit to Polaris, the hotel's signature restaurant, after having
dinner at 520 Bar and Grill in Bellevue (also a recommendation) was the perfect
way to end the night. We enjoyed a glass of a great Washington Syrah and
gorgeous artisanal local cheeses.
I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. It has the Small
Luxury Hotels of the World designation and it is well deserved. I can't wait to
come back to Seattle - even in spite of the "summer weather" being in the 60s
and raining. In this beautiful hotel, I have barely noticed. Kudos to both the
staff and management. You will not regret staying here
