Great hotel. Modern. Fair prices and if you're traveling with family the suites
are awesome. They have one of the best malls right across the street with
Nordstroms and pretty much everything else you can imagine. There's a Joey's
through the lobby doors. Next time we go to Seattle we will definitely stay in
Bellevue again rather than the heart of the city. Way easier to get in and out
on the highways from here and avoid the gridlock and the shopping is better.

The Hyatt Regency is known for being one of the finest hotel brands in the
business and this property doesn't disappoint.
From it's soaring lobby atrium to the beautifully appointed rooms the Hyatt
located in downtown Bellevue offers a great room at a very reasonable price
($139 in my case).
In an effort to reduce energy usage or rather keep guests from wasting
electricity guests are required to place their room key in a slot inside the
door in order to operate the lighting. This is commonly used in Asia but this is
the first time that I have seen it being utilized in the U.S.
The hotel staff was kind and courteous and the front desk clerk offered me her
business card in case there was anything that I needed. A nice personal touch
though one I didn't need.
The hotel does have wi-fi but unless you are a Platinum Gold Passport member or
staying on the regency Club level it will set you back $10 per day.
If you aren't wedded to having internet access in your room then I suggest going
across the street to the nearest Starbucks for free wi-fi.
While there are several restaurant choices in the hotel my recommendation is to
explore the neighborhood where there is a wide array of restaurants and cuisines
for just about any palate or budget.
So enjoy the comfort and hospitality that Hyatt is known for without breaking
the bank while taking in the sights and sounds of Seattle and the surrounding
area.

The high point of this hotel is it is close to many restaurants and shopping if
you are into that. It was also in walking distance to the water. The hotel staff
was very accommodating.
The 550 bus stops a short walk from the hotel and it will take you into Seattle
Westlake Center and then walk to Seattle Art Museum, etc

We normally stay downtown, but this time we stayed in Bellevue for a 5 day
conference. The hotel was only 6 miles from Pike Place, which was a concern at
the beginning, but we found many nice places to visit and lovely non-chain
restaurants in the area, so we did not go to downtown at all. Staff were great
and the hotel food was of high quality. No complaints at all and looking forward
to our next stay there.

The Hyatt was decent. We had our hopes way up after reading all the reviews, and
we ended up having somewhat of a let down once we checked-in. The views are
great, but the rooms are small and nothing special. One thing we were very
surprised by is the staff was not as friendly and inviting as all these reviews
made it out to be. We must have come on an off night. Even the concierge was
very stand offish! Our next night we talked to a young man at the counter who
was very friendly and gave us a great dinner recommendation.
so all in all it was a decent stay. We were already talking about the other
hotels we saw and wanted to try out next time--so the Hyatt didn't make us fall
in love. We may stay here again in the future, but only after trying out other
hotels in the area. You won't have a bad experience and I am sure you will enjoy
your stay. Just don't let the reviews get your hopes WAY up like it did ours.
