I booked this hotel after doing a lot of research as it seemed to be a nice
looking hotel with great amenities. This was a special night as I was
celebrating my 2nd year anniversary and my wife's b-day..... well, let me tell
you, this hotel not only offered an amazing room and incredible facilities, but
it was absolutely the best service I have ever received from a hotel and I've
stayed in many of the best hotels in North America. Not only were we welcomed
with a bottle of bubbly celebrating our anniversary, but I booked a table on the
patio of their Polaris Grill and the food was outstanding, the wine suggestion
was brilliant, and the service was the best service I have ever received in a
restaurant before. There was a team of service staff (and manager) that ensured
our dinner was well looked as we sat on the patio beside the fireplace. They
opened the fire place doors to keep us warm, offered my wife a blanket, gave us
a brilliant wine, served us 2 complimentary appetizers, and I had a brilliant
duck pasta that was to die for as well as a fantastic NY steak. The service here
is truly outstanding and the entire team at the Polaris Grill deserved top marks
across the board for an unforgettable experience. The hotel staff were equally
as brilliant from the bellhop, to valet service, to front desk agents, concierge
and health club attendants. The facilities were beautiful, tennis courts
amazing, gorgeous pool, running track, basketball court, everything, everything
was perfect! We stayed in a club room and thorough enjoyed the breakfast on the
terrace in the morning sun with our room service breakfast. The vaulted 12 ft
ceilings really gave you a more open feeling than a regular hotel room. I
absolutely will stay here again and recommend this hotel, and only this hotel,
to anyone I know visiting the area! Simply brilliant!!!

This hotel is exactly what you would expect from a 4 star hotel. It is a big,
clean, modern comfortable hotel that lacks personality but is just fine for a
business trip. However, the difference here is that you have access to a great
gym. Their equipment is good, the pool is great and its open all hours. That for
me was the highlight.

Great place for active families. Beautiful rooms, and plenty of fitness
activities-Pools, Tennis, machines, classes, Racquetball, Basketball. Excellent
housekeeping staff. Easy location from airport and to all attractions in Seattle
Area. Charming city.

My husband and I stayed here on our wedding night.
Over the phone a week before our wedding I called told them what I was thinking
and they offered comp parking and a upgrade because they had no fireplace rooms
available. I will take comp'd anything! I also order rose petal turn down
service no problem! Oh and 3 pm check out.
We arrive I am still in my wedding dress the front desk is so excited she offers
to have a bottle of wine brought to our room. YES!
Next my husband goes to see that the valet is tipped, me being the person I am
have to tell her she has food in her teeth , after exclaiming that she ate hours
ago she thanks me and offers strawberries and cheesecake.
The next day we decided to go out for breakfast (the cost at the hotel was a
little crazy for our liking), but the valet gave us good directions also offered
to have us driven...we were going to IHOP it just seemed odd to be dropped off
in the town car at IHOP in our sweats...
Over all the room and stay was great! Also they comped the rose petal turn down.
We did not get a chance to visit the gym, we were ah, busy. Nor did we get a
chance to visit the spa but there is always next time.
The Pros:

*quiet location
*access to premier fitness facility
*cozy bathrobes
*honor bar fridge in the room sans the warning not to put your own items in it
* internet
* eco friendly toiletries
The Cons:
*no slippers--the floor is cold
*no coffee maker in the room
*no free bottled water in the room
*no free do-it-yourself parking
* the room had some poorly done touch ups (matching paint is hard to do!)
* eco friendly toiletries do not get the hairspray out!
COMFORT= A-
SERVICE = A
VALUE=A-
I will be back my husband and I enjoyed our stay we live on the other side of
the state but this is our new getaway spot. |
