We stayed at this hotel in August 2011. The hotel service and condition is definitely not up to a 3-star hotel in the same area. The room and the hallways are very old. The wireless Internet doesn't work in the rooms and you can only get wireless coverage in the lobby and the parking area. The fridge in our room wasn't working. The beds are very clean and the bathrooms are good as well. I hadn't seen TFT Tvs in a hotel room for a long time as most hotels have flat screens LCDs these days. The TV channels are very limited and hard to browse through. The complementary breakfast was just ok with no fruits included. The location of the hotel is good if you want to stay close to the downtown in Bellevue. I didn't find the staff friendly enough, I had requested for a baby crib and had to call the front desk 3 times to get the crib and it was almost 10:00 pm at night - 3 hours after we checked in. Overall, set your expectation at a the level for a 2-star hotel otherwise you won't be happy with staying at this place.

Free Parking. Bar had a couple good local micro-brews for a reasonable price. Lobby was just ok. Treed courtyard ok but could be nicer. Elevator was in bad shape. 2 Queen room was cramped. Cot seemed like it was from 1960. The mattresses were hard and slanted really bad to one side. Tub was old, stained, and wouldn't drain. Ice machines in hallway could be heard on the far side of our room....sounded like a toilet flushing all night. Wifi didn't work. If you get this room for $35-50/night it's ok. Anymore than that and you'll feel cheated.

First let me say, as soon as we got into the elevator there was a weird smell. Now the hotel did smell old, but there was something else in the air. It got worse when we walked down the hallways to our room and our room was no better.

It tickled all our noses and I couldn’t stop sneezing. We left our bags and headed to the closest store to buy air fresheners. When we came back to our room, someone else walking down the hallway also mentioned the smell. We told them we got room sprays and they said they would have to do the same.

Now besides the place smelling funny, the tub was moldy, the beds were concaved and made it very uncomfortable to sleep in.

The hotel might have upgraded their lobby to give “appearances” that it’s a nice place, but it’s not. Luckily we were hardly in our room.

We also found out what the weird smell was….BUG Spray.

Lobby and rooms had been updated - but putting new throw pillows doesn't hid the fact that this is a dated hotel. If you look past the "newer" accessories, you can see they are already a bit worn. The courtyard was lovely though. Hallway carpet was absolutely disgusting - many unidentifiable stains. Rooms were fine for the most part - the removable things were already worn, but not nearly as old as the tile and wall-paper. A number of creepy crawlies found in the bathroom set me off a bit - housekeeping came up and sprayed saying they were coming in through the AC unit. They did not offer any sort of compensation for the bugs. Only one PC in their business center, but it worked. I did hear another guest complain they had no wi-fi in their room and the front desk staff offered no compensation for that either. You get what you pay for in a high-rent district.
