Pacific Northwest Arts and Crafts Fair |
|
It started more than 50 years ago when a restaurateur hung the artwork of
Northwest artists on his restaurant wall. Today it's a big event that draws
30,000 visitors to Bellevue Square and Bellevue Place. Judges select hundreds of
artists to display their works. The featured art comes in all forms: jewelry,
hand-painted clothing, sculpture, paintings, photography, stoneware, hats and
more. Meet and talk with local artists. The fair takes place the last weekend in
July. Bellevue Festival of the Arts is an outdoor arts and crafts fair located just across Lake Washington from Seattle. It takes place in an easily accessible and attractive outdoor setting under the clear blue skies of the pacific Northwest summer. Its cheery and well-organized, prime location in the Cost Plus parking lot puts the festival squarely within the heart of Bellevue and guarantees attendees easy access to all the wonderful arts activities available in the city at this time of year. We are now celebrating our 23rd year as an annual juried arts and crafts fair featuring 200 of the most talented and popular artisans and craftspeople in the Northwest and beyond. The Bellevue Festival of the Arts offers a superb array of finely crafted items including jewelry, photography, textiles, glass, fine art, woodworking, sculpture, ceramics and pottery. Produced by the Craft Cooperative of the Northwest we continue to support a variety of charities with proceeds from the festival. The Bellevue Festival of the Arts takes place the last full weekend in July in downtown Bellevue, Washington along with two other art fairs. Estimated attendance is 250,000. The 2009 show will take place on July 25, 26 & 27. The Bellevue Festival of the Arts is located four miles east of Seattle, Washington in downtown Bellevue. We are across from Bellevue Square in the Cost Plus Parking lot at the intersection of Bellevue Way NE and NE 8th Street. We are North of 1-90 and South of 520. |
