I rented this place because I needed a pet friendly hotel. It is so icky, even
by pet friendly hotel standards. The king size room has a nasty old kitchen, and
the bed smells as though it's never really been cleaned. Blankets are super flat
from the 80s, and I'm afraid of taking my shoes off. If I didn't need to keep
the pets here, I would have bailed the second I walked into my room. Ugh.

This hotel is in a convenient location and does offer the conveniences of a
kitchen, however my room was in need of maintenance. The towel rack had pulled
out from the wall and someone had kept it from falling by tying it up with a
plastic bag. The shower curtain smelled of mildew and my non-smoking room
smelled of smoke. The room, however, was clean and in working order -- just had
that stripped down, minimalist feel.

Just minutes from downtown Bellevue, yet reasonably priced. Since I only staid
for one night, I didn't use the kitchen, but would consider this a nice-to-have
for longer stays. The rooms were well kept, the bathroom was very clean, and the
bed was comfortable. The TV was outdated, though. Don't know the exact size, but
I think it was a 19" tube. Probably not an important factor, but most places I
stay at these days have LCD TVs. Just thought I'd throw it in there in case
somebody cared.

I had some difficulty finding the hotel on Monday night as I was coming from out
of town and I wasn't familiar with that part of Downtown Bellevue east of I-405.
The location is a bit tucked away but I booked it because for a 1 night stay for
1 person it was the better value than Red Lion. This is where I stayed in 2009.
Granted, this hotel is really designed for people staying a week or more but it
met all but one of my needs for an overnight stay. It doesn't provide a wakeup
call service. I use this as a backup to the alarm clock that was provided. I
truly appreciated the added value of a kitchenette that allowed me to eat in
rather than spent money on meals. Anyone who has spent any time in downtown
Bellevue knows that meals out can be a little pricey. The room was immaculate in
terms of cleanliness and had all the basics I would expect or need of a hotel.
All in all it met my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone staying in
the area who needs a inexpensive extended stay of a few days to a week or more.

good hotel, but one has to struggle for food as there's no dining within hotel.
Good place to come down for leisure. For me it gave country side feeling. I had
to walk so the Downtown , Mall and other places seemed to be bit at distance but
if overall good place to stay and spend weekend with family |
