We had a wonderful experience as a family with three kids under the age of 10 at
this hotel over the winter break. The rooms are well appointed with modern
furnishings, a comfortable bed and an extremely luxurious bathroom. Our family
made great use of the recreation and fitness facilities and particularly enjoyed
many hours in the indoor recreation pool and hot tub. The pool is heated to a
very comfortable temperature allowing for hours of frolicking. Our kids had a
blast swimming. At times the pool was a little busy so it would have been nice
if a lane or two had been removed to allow for more family fun swimming, but we
were all very happy in the pool nonetheless. The fitness facilities are great -
state of the art - so much to do in this hotel! Husband and eldest daughter
enjoyed a game of indoor tennis and the kids had fun in the games room.
Unfortunately the children's climbing wall was not open for use during our stay
as I'm sure the kids would have loved it. We dined at Splash and Polaris and
found the service very good and food delicious. I agree with a previous comment
that the coffee is much fresher and stronger at the Luna Cafe. Also, it would
have been nice to have a coffee maker in the room - but not a big deal, really.
The staff were great - all very friendly and professional. We loved the
proximity to The Bellevue Collection and the overall feel of Bellevue itself. We
will definitely be back after such a wonderful 3-night getaway... and look
forward to trying out the outdoor pool during the warmer weather. We really love
this hotel!

We were in a Premium room on the 3rd floor with a B&B plus parking package at
$209/nite for two. This allowed for a $50/day food allowance. We ate a lot of
meals in the hotel as a result and their food is very good. Coffee is much
better & fresher at the Luna cafe than in the major restaurant though. Tea brand
is awful - tastes like ash.
We had a number of maintenance glitches which were dealt with promptly: the
bed's headboard was coming away from the wall (they offered to move us to the
next-door room but we didn't want to move all of our stuff, so we just leaned
the headboard against the wall), TV remote needed batteries or an upgrade, light
switch next to the entrance was broken. When we reported things, the staff was
very helpful & speedy in helping. Amy in the Front Office gave us an additional
$50 food voucher plus free movie for the hassle.
This was all great but I do wonder if hotels have regular staff/people who stay
in their rooms overnight, say once a year, to evaluate maintenance issues that
Housekeeping might not notice in general cleaning.
Additional notes: Main breakfast restaurant (Polaris) closed on Sat a.m.; no
paper on Sat. Excellent shower - with regular shower head plus a handheld, all
Grohe - rarely see this! Paraban-free products. Two chairs & hassock in room are
comfortable & solid. One dog is allowed but not cats(!). When I called to make a
reservation, the person wasn't all that friendly, but this wasn't the case in
most parts of the hotel. Fitness facilities & classes are excellent. The name of
the hotel is Bellevue Club & Hotel, after all. Judging from the cars in the
parking lot, it's a pretty high-end fitness club. They had an ice machine on our
floor cleverly hidden in a nice piece of furniture and the ice was kept in
individual plastic bags - great idea!

We frequently come to Bellevue to vist family and always stay at this hotel.
Classic design, great service and location and well priced for the quality.
We have tried a few others on occasion but always come back to the Hotel
Bellevue. Affiliated with a first class fitness club and located in a great
community, this hotel is the best place to stay in the area

I had such a nice stayed the Hotel Bellevue. It's beautiful, clean, spacious,
comfortable. Loved the big open windows. It was full of small great little
touches. I could rant on and on. I would love to come back by myself for a
weekend to have a spa week. In loved that you could use the amazing athletic
club as a hotel guest. Service was excellent, so much so the hotel maids even
filled our ice buckets.
Only thing wasn't thrilled about was the $14 a night parking charge. It's not a
secure lot, just a regular self park lot in the suburbs. If your paying this
much for a hotel.... Just include the parking in the room rate! and save us the
unexpected unnecessary extra fees.

Had intended to stay in Seattle but hotels there were booked. First time at
Hotel Bellevue and it was very nice from check in to check out. They have a town
car there and took us to a restaurant and picked us up. Attached to the Bellevue
Athletic club with full access as a hotel guest. We will go back just to enjoy
the hotel again.

My friend and I stayed at the Hotel Bellevue for the weekend, and we thought it
was just great! From the moment I arrived, the staff was so friendly and
accommodating. The room was so nice, as were the amenities of the hotel
(including the health club)! They have a car service available to guests if you
are going within a few miles of the hotel, which is perfect for downtown
Bellevue. Even though the hotel is about 15 miles from Seattle ($40 cab ride),
it worked out perfect with our weekend itinerary. We will both be back!

Overall a great place to stay. Beautiful setting, wonderful staff only a couple
of things did mar the visit.
Firstly we arrived with a car which spent less than 24hours at the hotel and we
were charged 2 lots of Valet Parking and parking tax...wasn't impressed with
that...not a huge amount of money, just the principal.
Secondly we sent out some laundry only to find on reaching our next destination
that 2 'white' blouses had now become a nasty shade of orange/brown. The hotel
needs to review their laundry people. Rule of thumb....don't put whites in with
colored's when washing. Annoyance of cost of replacing items. Ground level,
corner room, outdoor balcony/garden area surrounded by plants and
flowers..lovely |
