I stayed at this hotel when I was in town for business meetings (it was
in-between two). It's definitely not a top-notch hotel, but the room was nice
enough. When you enter it's a tile floor and the sink portion of the bathroom,
which isn't the greatest entryway, but there was a mini fridge, comfortable bed,
and internet access (no wi-fi in the rooms though). I didn't explore much, but
there's a whole foods just up the road, which was perfect.

We were at this property in the past week and enjoyed the room a lot. We used
the outdoor pool facilities and I noticed the pool needs some maintenance, as
there were many dead bugs in the water and mold was evident under the edge of
the area near the stairs. Take shoes to use around the pool area, as the deck
surface is extremely hard on the feet. Aside from this, the hotel was great,
clean and pleasant.
We took transit downtown and a bus straight downtown is only about a 10 minute
walk away. We also visited the (almost) adjacent Whole Foods for some snacks and
beverages for our jaunts around the city.

This hotel is close to many areas of Seattle shopping centers. Hotel is quiet
and clean. Front desk staff are kind and courteous, and request to change rooms
wasn't difficult. Our first visit we stayed in a room on the outside, which we
found was fairly noisy. We then changed to an inside room. Much quieter.

The hotel was small and thus quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were
clean and well tended. I liked the Coast very much and will stay there again
when I come back in to Seattle. It was convenient, away from tourist traffic and
an overall peaceful visit. :) Great job management and staff.

My daughter and I travelled to Bellevue Washington for a shopping trip, and
prior to, I researched hotels that would be central and affordable. I came upon
the Coast Hotel on-line and checked the reviews and found them to be very mixed.
I booked for one night in case the negative reviews proved to be correct. We
arrived at the hotel later in the day and found the front desk to be very
pleasant and helpful. Our room was a pleasant surprise! We found it to be be
very clean and very comfortable. Considering the price that we paid for our room
we found this hotel to be a wonderful surprise.
This hotel is not a fancy hotel but had all of our requirements for an overnight
stay. We were very happy with this hotel and because of this we did stay an
additional night. We would recommend this hotel if you are in the area. It is
close to a major mall and all of the cities wonderful eateries. |
