Concert at the Marina August 2004.The Port of Everett is a natural deep-water port located 25 miles north of Seattle on the Puget Sound. It is one of two Ports in Snohomish County; along with the Port of Edmonds.

The Port of Everett strives to bring jobs, business and tourism to its local and surrounding communities. Along with the other state ports, the Port of Everett is also committed to efficiently moving goods into and throughout Washington state and the world. The port also operates the largest public marina on the West Coast and owns more than 3,000 acres of property.

The Port’s Marina Village, located at 1728 W. Marine View Drive, was created in 1984 and includes several restaurants and businesses that have beautiful waterfront views. These facilities are owned and operated by a developer that leases the property from the Port of Everett. Some of the restaurants and amenities include Anthony’s Restaurant, Wood Fire Grill, Whale Watching Tours, waterfront walkways and several retail shops.

Marina Village also includes The Landing, which features Lombardies Restaurant, Port Gardner Inn and several office buildings.

New Waterfront Neighborhood

The Port of Everett with private-sector developer Maritime Trust Company is creating Port Gardner Wharf, a new waterfront neighborhood located on the shores of Puget Sound! Through this innovative partnership, the Port is transforming the former 65-acre industrial site into a collection of condominiums, town homes, professional office space, unique shops, destination restaurants, inns, a marine-related Craftsmen District and an extensive network of public access opportunities!

The site will contain 18 acres of open space, including a public plaza, 1.5 mile of waterfront pedestrian path and pocket parks. The site is located between 11th and 15th Streets off West Marine View Drive. This is a phased project that will be completed in six to nine years and is expected to cost approximately $400 million.

The Port and Maritime Trust expects the first residents to take occupancy in late 2009.
