 The 73,000-square-foot Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is one of
Western Washington's major attractions you won't want to miss. It features the
only public tour of a commercial jet assembly plant in North America.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour debuted in December 2005.
With developments in aviation technology coming at an ever-quickening pace, The
Boeing Company, Future of Flight Foundation, Snohomish County Public Facilities
District and the Snohomish County Airport (Paine Field) joined forces to create
a unique interpretive center so visitors could glimpse the future of commercial
aviation.
The $23-million Future of Flight project mission is to engage you, the visitor,
in the wonder of flight - from the astonishing miracle of powered flight itself
to the impact of commercial aviation on humanity around the globe.

The Boeing Tour and Boeing Store expanded both its facilities and its hours when
it became part of the Future of Flight Aviation Center. Now you can watch the
world's largest jets assembled in the world's largest building on Saturdays and
Sundays as well as weekdays.

The Future of Flight & Boeing Tour are located at 8415 Paine Field Blvd.,
Mukilteo, WA 98275, approximately 30 miles north of Seattle via Interstate-5.
From Interstate-5 North or South, take Exit 189 to State Highway 526 West. Drive
for about four miles, go past the huge Boeing assembly building on your right.
At the four-way stoplight where 526 intersects with 84th St. SW and Paine Field
Blvd., turn left into the entry drive for the Future of Flight & Boeing Tour. It
is well-signed after you pass the factory building. |
