Art and History Exhibits - numerous and ever changing! Campbell House - this 1890's Spokane mansion is incredibly rich in history. The Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture is pleased to offer a variety of programs and events designed for the entire family. Northwest Museum of Arts Store The Museum Store carries a wonderful assortment of books, gifts, handmade items, museum logo items and jewellery. The book selection emphasizes Inland Northwest history and culture including American Indian tribes, immigrant settlement, industries, arts and issues. They also carry a fun collection of kids books on art, history and stories from many cultures to inspire creativity and learning. Northwest Museum of Arts Café MAC Cafe MAC by D'Zaar serves American and Middle Eastern lunch items, pastries and Turkish coffee in a beautiful setting with a view. Kids items starting at $2.75. Getting to the Northwest Museum of Arts & Culture From Seattle (and other points west of Spokane) East on I-90 to Maple St. (Interstate Exit 280) Turn left (north) onto Walnut and continue for three blocks, moving to left lane. Turn left (west) onto Second Ave and immediately move to the right lane. Continue straight ahead on Second Ave. for six blocks Turn right (north) onto Hemlock St. and continue for two blocks. Turn left (west) onto First Ave. and then immediately turn right into the Museum parking lot. From Coeur d’Alene (and other points east of Spokane) West on I-90 to Maple St. (Interstate Exit 280) Turn right at the stop light at end of exit. Immediately move to the left lane as you will be turning left after 2 blocks. Turn left (west) onto Second Ave and immediately move to the right lane. Continue straight ahead on Second Ave. Do not curve left with the arterial but continue straight into the Browne's Addition Neighborhood and continue for several blocks. Turn right (north) onto Hemlock St. and continue for two blocks. Turn left (west) onto First Ave and then immediately turn right into the Museum parking lot. From Colville (and other points north of Spokane) South on I-395 or Highway 2 (both merge onto Division Street going south). Continue into downtown Spokane, staying left to continue south to 2nd Avenue. Turn right (west) onto 2nd Avenue and proceed approximately 1.6 mi. through downtown, and into Browne's Addition Neighborhood, (stay right on 2nd, do not curve left with arterial). Turn right (north) onto Hemlock St. and continue for two blocks. Turn left (west) onto First Ave. and then immediately turn right into the Museum parking lot. From Pullman (and other points south of Spokane) North on I-195 East on I-90 to Maple St. (Interstate Exit 280) Turn left (north) onto Maple and continue for three blocks Turn left (west) onto Second Ave and immediately move to the right lane. Continue straight ahead on Second Ave. for six blocks Turn right (north) onto Hemlock St. and continue for two blocks. Turn left (west) onto First Ave. and then immediately turn right into the Museum parking lot. |
