The Flour Mill
621 W Mallon Ave, Spokane, WA 99201
This unique shopping center, which is home to such stores as Accents and Dreams,
Homestead Birkenstock, and Tobacco World, is located on the north bank of the
Spokane River, near the Spokane Arena. For more than 100 years, the Flour Mill
was just as its name implied – a mill that ground wheat into flour. In 1974, as
part of the city's preparation for the World's Fair, the mill was renovated to
provide downtown space for eateries and retailers.

small local businesses. In addition, there are a number of restaurants and
cafes.

a lovely old brick building, with hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. The
staff is friendly, and the store is often busy with people perusing the shelves
for their favorite titles. Uncle's, a gift shop, is located next door, as is the
Liberty Cafe, where you can enjoy your favorite java while you break in your
newest book.

grandfather clocks. With all of the ticking and tocking that goes on here,
