Old Slocum House Theatre Company
605 Esther Street, Vancouver, WA
360-696-2427
www.slocumhouse.com
The Old Slocum House Theater is Vancouver's oldest Non-Profit Community
Theater. We will be celebrating 40 years in 2005. Hermine Decker, the
founder of the company, and Robert Hidden adopted the old house before
it was to be torn down, and had it brought up from the river to its
current home in 1966.
A group of hardworking friends of the house remodeled, cleaned and with
great resourcefulness, created a wonderful new home for local theater.
Slocum House provides the community with not only an historical
landmark, but also a unique venue for enjoying live theater.
