From here the riders will experience the serenity of the once roaring Columbia river as they cruise northward through the rolling hills along this scenic byway, within the rivers' gorge, to the small village of Entiat, WA. The route then takes a turn to the west and follows the cut of the Entiat River, one of the secret jewels of North Central Washington, past the Entiat Fish Hatchery and on up to Silver Falls. Abundant wildflowers and wildlife, fantastic views of Stormy Mountain, the Entiat Ridge and the ancient Columbia River Basin, make the ride along this wild river the favorite route of our regular Apple Century participants.
