The making of Mission Ridge

A short 12 miles from Wenatchee and just three hours from most major cities in Washington is Mission Ridge, a snow enthusiast's dream come true. Mission Ridge offers dry snow, sun filled days, and miles of uncrowded slopes. Mission Ridge averages about 26 days of sunshine every month! The Ridge offers inland powder snow that is well groomed. And talk about elbow room: Mission Ridge offers 2,000 acres of groomed runs and open slopes. There are generous, gentle and slower-paced runs for children, beginners, families and infrequent skiers and riders. Higher up, the mountain offers a challenge for the most demanding skiers and snowboarders. So come to Mission Ridge. For a great winter getaway, right here in Washington State! Mission Ridge is open from December through early April.

Located in Hampton Lodge conveniently next to the rental shop and the entrance to the Lodge itself it is not your typical on-mountain shop. Sure, you will find all the necessities like lip balm and sunscreen, hand and feet warmers, mittens, gloves, goggles and helmets but we also have some great Mission Ridge logo items, sunglasses and tools. A sprinking of unique gift items and local artistic treasures have also been spotted every now and then so don't be afraid to stop in regularly to check it out.

Dining options include base camp’s Hampton Lodge or slope side at Midway on the Mountain! Our menus feature all the classics including but not limited to burgers, pizza, panninis, assorted beverages including a variety of great beers & local wines.
 

DIRECTIONS

From Seattle-North to Mission Ridge:
Take U.S. Hwy. 2 east to Wenatchee and follow the signs to Mission Ridge.

From Seattle-South to Mission Ridge:
Take I-90 east to Exit #85, Cle Elum/Wenatchee (Hwy. 970).
Take Hwy. 970 towards Wenatchee. At the junction of U.S. Hwy. 97, take U.S. Hwy. 97 north towards Wenatchee.
At the junction of U.S. Hwy. 2, take U.S. Hwy. 2 east to Wenatchee and follow the signs to Mission Ridge.

From Spokane to Mission Ridge:
Take I-90 west to Exit #151, Quincy/Wenatchee, (Hwy. 281).
Take Hwy. 281 towards Wenatchee.
At the junction of Hwy. 28 in Quincy, take Hwy. 28 to Wenatchee and follow the signs to Mission Ridge.

Family Tips:
Proper equipment and clothing is important for fun and safety. Layer clothes for comfort, be sure to apply sunscreen and drink plenty of water. Helmets are strongly suggested and mandatory for kids age 4 to 12 who are taking lessons.
