Hotel Review of the Sutton Suites Extended Stay SeaTac

Make sure you check this hotel, if you are staying for long term. It has large rooms with kitchen close to the train station mall and Airport. The staff is very friendly and the rates are very reasonable. I stayed at the hotel for over a month and found the area to be very safe and convenient. The building is little old but for the price it is a perfect hotel.

I think it must have been weeks since the hallways were vacumed. The linens were threadbare with no mattress covers to cover the stained mattresses. The bathrooms were old with old thin towels. We arrived late and although I did not expect the Westin by any means this place was just disgusting. There are no words to describe. I do not even think that it could be renovated. Just tear it down and start again. Our driver to the airport was nice enough and our car in one piece. That is really the only positive thing I can say about this place.

We stayed at the Sutton so that we could leave the car while we were out of town. If you are planning on leaving the car, and they know that - shouldn't there be parking available? We made a spot and then moved the car before we went to the airport the next morning. that being said I am sure there are new scratches on the car.

The room was big, yes - three beds. Thought that would be nice for the kids to have their own bed as we were staying with relatives on the holiday and they could be on the couch. Well, the beds had something to be desired. Old lumpy. The bathroom was okay though the tub was going to need maintenance sooner than later.

I think paying over 100.00 dollars a night was way too much for this.

The transportation to the airport was prompt but.

Well, the beds had something to be desired. Old lumpy. When we walked in the room it smelled of curry and the carpet was old and dirty - I kept my sandals on as I did not want to make contact with the floor. The bathroom was okay though the tub was going to need maintenance sooner than later.

Now everyone is saying you get what you pay for. I think paying over 100.00 dollars a night was way too much for this. The worst room I have ever been in.

The transportation to the airport was prompt but..... not all seatbelts worked.

Rooms are very nice sized, but definitely in serious need of some updates. It was great having kitchenette for this trip but that's about all I liked. The mattress was very old/worn and the king size bed obviously have hills and valleys where the previous occupants had been. Very uncomfortable, felt like I was falling out of bed any time I turned over. Second day there maid took towels out of my room because they ran short elsewhere? What's up with that?!

No screens on the windows so opening windows would let in any bugs... no thank you.
Room was basically clean, but drain in bathroom was barely draining, minor repairs needed to be done everywhere. Staff was barely courteous and I felt like I was being shunned for being a woman traveling alone?!

Parking..... if you've got a vehicle, you better make sure you don't park it where they will block you in. To raise additional money apparently they rent long term space but don't tell guests. After specifically asking immediately upon check in I was told to park anywhere there was a spot. NO!!!! They need to let EVERYONE on staff know to tell the guests that they have to park away from the front of the hotel because that's where they put the long term parking. Never mind if you're handicapped, no handicapped consideration at all. I wound up leaving 40 minutes later than my scheduled departure while the desk clerk tried to get the person blocking my car up to move. (This is 5:30 am) and he was drunk the night before so not answering his phone. Caused me to be late to the airport (missed my plane by 10 minutes) and not even an I'm sorry. They treated me like I was the one that made a mistake parking. I was just following what the checkin clerk said late Friday evening. Not even an "I'm sorry".... didn't care that I would have to fly standby or pay much higher plane fare. I was scheduled to be home just after noon. Didtn't make it till allmost midnight with work the next day... thanks a lot for nothing!!

The cheap price was not worth the inconvenience at all and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I was surprised to see the change of your breakfast room...every time when I went to Sutton Suites, I loved it,for your rooms were nice and clean, friendly staff, and 24 hour air port shuttle service, but I wasn't quite satisfied with your breakfast room. Your breakfast room has been improved a lot, and you guys are one of the best.
Keep up your good work.

Let's start from the top....Checking in was a less than desirerable experience. I was picked up at the airport by a shuttle and when we got to the hotel I was dropped off at the furthest point from the actual front desk. I was offered help with my bags but I refused thinking that the desk was very close & after that I got a room keys & I was very impressed with the size and quality of the bathroom and the fact that I was on the 3rd floor. Although not much of a height , but ys surrounding view was wonderful

Front desk were very helpful in getting taxis and information on where to go for a decent time in the evening.

I noticed that the housekeeping staff was also very nice and well behaved with everyone. My room was cleaned when i came back after 8 hours a day. As I opened the door I was happy to see my laptop still staring me in the face so I assumed nothing else was missing.

Location is great....near to the seatac airport. I caught my flight own time, because after 6-7 mins. drive. I was on airport with comfortably by shuttle

Eating places was also good surrounding areas it was not very expensive too. I do recommend for shopping to ...South Center mall approachable, not far away it takes 10-12 mins only. Variety of restaurants and its look like a central attraction too.

We used this hotel for it's park, sleep and fly program. But we won't be back. The parking lot was a disaster - 24 hours after the snowfall they still hadn't cleared even a walking path to the front door. Getting into their parking lot, on a hill, required 4-wheel drive. The rooms were just OK but an up-grade is needed. Service was very poor - when we returned from our flight we had to phone three times for pick-up. The 5 minute ride from the terminal to the hotel took us 45 minutes, most of that, standing in the cold waiting for the beat-up van.
