Hubby and I stayed here Nov. 7 for 3 nights, and what an enjoyable stay. Good
location, food at breakfast , spotless rooms, FREE parking, what more could you
ask for? Walked to Qwest Field, only about 2 and a half miles, Pike Place Market
is near as is the Space Needle, little eateries, and a grocery store. Would most
definitely stay here again if in Seattle. Only one minor thing, the pillows are
not the most comfortable, but that was the only glittch. Was nice to have a mini
fridge in room to keep beer and wine cold, also had a microwave, but did not
utilize.

I've stayed here several times for medical purposes. I got a very good medical
discount rate. The rooms were easy access, there is in-house, secure, free
parking, and an excellent self-serve free breakfast. The hotel is a little hard
to find, but is very close to entertainment venues, hospitals and easy freeway
access. Hi-speed free internet access was a plus. Quiet.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel itself is very quiet. Check
in and out was very easy. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed Seattle. There is a QFC
(Kroger) with a great deli about a block from the hotel. Breakfast was
substantial. We did have trouble with the WiFi and didn't experience this
anywhere else on our trip. Of all places--high tech Seattle!

Great Continental breakfast, close to downtown bus lines, rooms were clean.
Fantastic shopping nearby, front desk exceedingly helpful about getting us to
lesser known spots in Seattle for dining and touring. Highly recommend this
hotel and it's staff. They have parking!!!!! Hotel Review of the Comfort Suites Seattle Center

We stayed here Sept 13 - 16 2009. Our stay was great. The people at check in
were very helpful as we were coming off our cruise to Alaska. We put our
suitcases in the allotted room until 3 pm ck in. Took advantage of the free
shuttle service and went to the Pike Place Market for a wonderful afternoon.
Jimmy was so thoughtful and provided us with extra info about the area and great
service when we wanted to see the sights! When we wanted to stay longer than the
service was available we just grabbed a taxi [8 or 9 bucks] Our family will stay
at Comfort Suites whenever possible!Hotel Review of the Comfort Suites Seattle Center

I booked this hotel for my Dad who was visiting from LA. I wanted him to be in a
place that was somewhat quiet, off the beaten path, but close enough to walk if
he wanted to buy a paper, get a cup of coffee, or just take a stroll. The
Comfort Suites fit the bill. I also didn't think he wanted to stay in a very
expensive place, so the price was right.

Your hotel was conveniently located to the Seattle Center and downtown via
monorail. We enjoyed our stay and found the room to be very comfortable and
spacious.
Our one complaint was, of all things, with the toilet paper. It must be your
attempt to go green. It was flimsy, shredded and ribboned very easily, and was
very irritating to use. Ugh! Save your money somewhere else!

We were there over Memorial Day weekend, one of the busiest times of the year,
with the Mariners being in town, Folklife going on and cruise ships departing.
The Comfort Suites reflected that, especially at breakfast. it was a mob scene;
we made the mistake of coming down late for breakfast and all the hot food was
gone. They did replace it tho' so that was fine.
The location is perfect as it's very close to Seattle Center and has free
parking; one of very few places that does. It's underground and secure. (we had
no need of it as we took a van shuttle from Portland.)We had a room on the
4th floor at one end and it was quite small (definitely not a suite!) As we
didn't spend a lot of time in it, that wasn't a problem. We could see the top of
the Space Needle and looked down on the courtyard.
We never did find out for sure if their free shuttle was still running
but we did manage to find a company called Seattle Shuttle (I think that was the
name) that took my wife and I to the Mariners game for only $5 round trip per
person. That was only a little more than the bus and much faster.
Having QFC only a block away was great. We went there on more than one occasion.
Also, about 6 blocks away on Queen Anne are many different restaurants and there
are a couple on Roy, just a couple of blocks away as well.
Overall, it was a good stay and we'll probably go back again.

Business stayed 3 nights because of location; close to downtown and Seattle
center. perfectly adequate rooms, seemed to be clean and pretty well appointed 'tho
a bit worn here and there. easy walking distance to center and to downtown and
also easy access to I-5. as others noted, breakfast room very crowded and seems
to run out of hot items pretty early. looked like a convention of retired people
the first night we were there and they were all camped out in breakfast room in
the morning without much regard for others who wanted to sit down for a meal.
staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable. also they do not charge extra for
parking unlike the hampton inn just up the street. no weight machine in exercise
room. ask for room on the non-aurora ave. side for a quieter stay.Hotel Review of the Comfort Suites Seattle Center

This hotel had me going in circles. Our first night, we ended up in Aurora Blvd.
A street with a divider 10 miles long that will take you all the way to a bridge
to nowhere. My GPS was going haywire with one way streets, constructions, and
blocked streets. We finally arrived and the hotel pretty much thrives of self
service which was okay to me. The underground parking was good for security
purposes. With 2 adults, 2 seniors, and a child; the $125 per night was well
worth the money which equates to $25 per person with the free breakfast. The
free internet and the business center was a good amenity in checking in for the
airport. I did my laundry at this hotel and left my clothes to dry overnight.
The hotel left me a good impression on its services.
The hotel has a sofabed that pulls into another full size bed which was a plus.
The only gripe I had was that the front desk actually has a good map to the
hotel and failed to mention they had it the first night I got there. Overall,
this hotel is a hidden gem. |
