Incredible deal! Great hotel in a fantastic neighborhood. This isn’t the place
for you if you want high-end luxury but if you want clean, convenient and
charming - stay here! This place was filled with nice little surprises such as
French-milled soap in the bathroom and the lobby offered fabulous fresh coffee
and fruit in the mornings. This hotel is within walking distance of great
restaurants, boutique stores and a crazy-fun piano bar. The pizza place around
the corner is open late and has great slices. Its located next to Pace needle
and Key Arena!

I stayed at the Inn at Queen Anne half of July.
The location of the hotel is nice, parking space is terrible!
We got a room on the 2nd floor. There is no elevator, so I asked for a room on
the first floor. (I had a lot of luggage) There was one available, but former
guests had seen a mouse in there, so the choice was mine...
To the room on the second floor then. The key didn't work, so we got a new one.
This one worked (after almost breaking the key because the lock is not that good
anymore)
The room looked okay. Furniture etc was very old fashioned, but I could look
through.
The moment I regret I booked this room was when I was in the bathroom.
A: it's small
B: there came no water out of the shower... (okay, a few drips...)
I had to fill the bath, and then use a pot from the kitchen to wash my hair!!! I
thought I was in a hotel, but even campgrounds have better facilities!
They say they have a breakfast, but in real it's free coffee (not a good one)
and a granola bar in plastic.
I had to pay 149,50 dollars for 2 nights, and this was way too much money!!!
I will never come back again and rather pay more for a nice sleep in Seattle.

Is this place a 4 star resort ? No, and that's a good thing - 4 star hotels
usually don't have kitchenettes. It's a cute and quirky old place that is a
great budget option. Not just because it's a great deal ( About the same price
as the hooker hotels close to downtown), but having a fridge for sodas, snacks
and all those goodies from Pike Place can really help the money go farther. Our
room had AC ( The hotel told me all the rooms have it now), a view of the Space
Needle from one room, and a view of Puget Sound from the other one.
About the continental breakfast. It's a joke. Oatmeal bars, Lipton tea and a
coffee machine. Walk one block to Metropolitan Market for a real "power
breakfast" you'll need it if you're exploring Seattle on foot! We're looking
forward to staying there again.

The room and building in an old vintage apartment complex turned into a hotel.
The bathroom is tiny, the ceiling had water damage and the paint was chipping.
Envision a studio apartment from the 1960's and you'll get a good idea of what
you are going to be staying in.

I stayed at the Inn at Queen Anne for 2 nights in December 2009. I enjoyed my
stay and would definitely go back. I was delighted with the charming ambiance,
numerous free amenities and friendly service of this small European-type hotel.
This is a cozy low-key hotel in a decent area within walking distance of the
Space Needle and Seattle Center. The many free amenities include:
Seattle-roasted coffee and assorted teas in the lobby 24/7, continental
breakfast, wireless connection, shuttle service to and from downtown—and a
kitchenette in each room. Additionally, the staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Some rooms are renovated and others aren’t—which doesn’t detract from the
over-all benefits, as the un-renovated rooms basically have old-fashioned
stucco’ed instead of modern smooth walls. A small welcoming lobby and sweet
courtyard (though it was too cold in December to enjoy sitting in) add to its
charm. The price makes it even more attractive. Unlike other hotels I came
across while researching Seattle hotels on-line, IQA’s advertised low price is
real; plus, IQA gave me an additional AAA discount. The Inn at Queen Anne is my
idea of great value and a delightful, cozy place to stay!

My partner and I loved this hotel. Kitchen had a stove, microwave and mini
fridge and the cupboards actually had dishes and cutlery to use (many hotels
I've stayed in didn't provide them). We stayed on the 3rd floor for the view and
we weren't disappointed. They don't have an elevator so we had to lug our bags
up the stairs but believe me, it was way worth it. The bed was very comfortable,
not stiff like many hotels and all the linens were clean. The bathroom was
stocked with organic soaps which smelled divine. The surrounding area was filled
with many restaurants and shops all in walking distance. We plan on staying here
again when we visit Seattle in the future.

First room I stayed in, for less than an hour mind you, had a entrance room door
as thin as a Closet door, No Air Con, so I opened window to have 5 flys flying
around like vultures interrupting my view of TV, room was also too bright, cheap
blinds cover half of windows, the other half has nice thick curtains. No screens
on windows however, SO I left room to leave hotel when the front desk convinced
me to stay with a new room. I reluctantly gave it a shot and was disappointed
once again with the water pouring in the kitchen over the microwave the
following morning, In order to stay cool the windows had to be left open only to
hear a club/pub close bye celebrate till 2am. I don't mind paying a little more
for a nice hotel, and that's exactly what I will do when I visit Queen Anne. I
have stayed at the Mediterranean across the street which is wonderful, AC,
excellent security, overall pleasant experience. This place is a dump, itchy
feeling, Oh yeah this now third room smells of Vodka-like someone was sick or
something. Front desk says they have no more rooms, one more answer to appease
them and not the guests. I could go on-but I have better things to go on doing.
I have done you potential guests a favour-Your welcome...

I chose the Inn at Queen Anne for location, because it is literally across the
street from the Key Arena where I was attending an event. It is also smack in
the middle of the Lower Queen Anne district of Seattle with its excellent range
of inexpensive, decent restaurants. With the wildly contradictory reviews
recorded here I just had to find out for myself. I was 100% satisfied with the
friendly staff, clean room and level of comfort. It is a budget hotel, so of
course it is going to a little dated. If you want creature comforts pay for them
somewhere else. But if you want a pleasant atmosphere in a lovely neighbourhood,
at a very reasonable price I highly recommend this place. A continental
breakfast was included, with 24-hour tea and coffee. There was parking on the
street or in the hotel's nearby lot. The rooms are equipped with a simple
kitchenette, and there is air conditioning. The only drawback is lack of
elevators. Their sister hotel the MarQueen is one street over and little more
upscale, but for the money the Inn at Queen Anne exceeded expectations. |
