clean hotel with excellent location. Room was fantastic with everything needed
(including an iron!). 5 min walk to downtown. staff were knowledgeable, friendly
and kind with a real dedication to making your stay a success, great breakfast
in the morning ( free!) included sausages, yogurt, waffles, toast, sweets,
oatmeal, coffee.. the list goes on! parking was free and our vehicle was safe
within our site ( didn't want it broken into)
Excellent stay and we would come again FOR SURE!

Stayed one night on the ending of an Alaskan cruise. Everyone nice, has washers
and dryers which were used to avoid having to do it all when we got home. Close
to the Pike market. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant and we were allowed
to check in early.

I stayed in the Hilton in Portland, OR a few weeks ago and didn't have a
comfortable and convenient accommodations as I do here. I LOVE it. HUGE rooms,
great staff and walking distance to downtown Seattle. They have FREE hot cookies
:-) , FREE parking, FREE exercise room, FREE wifi, FREE Breakfast and more. And
$89 a night!!Hotel Review of the La Quinta Inn Downtown Seattle

Four of us stayed on the 29th of August before leaving on a cruise. The price
was very good, the hotel was a little old, but the rooms were VERY clean, and
the employees were more than nice. When we got back from the cruise, they even
allowed us to store our luggage there while we toured the city waiting for our
late airline departure time. The only problem was that transportation to the
pier and to the airport can get very expensive. We got with a Towncar driver who
was very nice but, by the time we left Seattle after using him about 6 times
added up to about $150.00. You just don't realize how much you are spending
until you leave and put a pencil to it. Next time, I will use a taxi. Excellent
hotel!! |

Walking distance (gotta like to walk though) to downtown, Market and Seattle
Center. Whole Foods and Starbucks within a couple blocks. Two room suite had no
tissues or mirrors aside from a bathroom mirror. Sofa bed unbearable, but main
bed wonderful. Breakfast good. Front desk polite but could've been more helpful
(one example being one guy sent us to 9th instead of 7th for Whole Foods.)
Parking is on the dreadful side, (tight, awkward) but we always had a spot in
the main 2 lots (3rd across street.) But free parking always a plus in
Seattle... AC unit not enough for entire suite but they did have a fan in the
bedroom. (Heat in winter same issue?) I'd stay again. |

I'd like to know where else you can find a clean hotel with relatively spacious
rooms, complimentary breakfasts, free internet at a location halfway between
downtown and Seattle Centre!? The front desk staff were friendly and
knowledgeable--only too eager to please. In the evenings you get your pick of
complimentary freshly baked cookies for god's sake. There is complimentary
coffee and tea in the lobby 24/7 and the breakfast has something for everyone.
Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything more. I'll be sure to come back.
Thank you to the staff at "La Quinta Inn" downtown Seattle. |

What won us over was the free parking. The breakfast was very good. Many folks
from the convention we were attending. Long walk to the convention center but
was worth it. Staff were very friendly and let us check in early. Only thing
that would have made it perfect would have been earlier breakfast hours |

My wife and I spent four days with our two childred (10 and 14) along with an
exchange student from Italy. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, breakfast
was delicious. Parking was TIGHT for my rented SUV but in hindsight we didn’t
need a car considering how close we were to downtown, Pike’s Market, Space
Needle etc. There was a wonderful Whole Foods Market half a block from the
hotel. Apparently this is the only hotel for quite a distance that accepts pets
(or there was a convention somewhere) so if other people’s pets get your
"dander" up, this might not be the place for you. However, it was clean, tidy,
convenient and you could tell the management was working hard to keep the place
in good repair. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good location at an
affordable price. We will be back. |

We were in Seattle for a weekend get-away and stayed at La Quinta in downtown
Seattle. This is not a luxury hotel. if you need a clean room with a clean bed
and bathroom, this is a great place to stay for the price. The location is
fantastic very near the I-5 and all the downtown sites.
Keep in mind, I am not a traveler that needs a five star hotel to enjoy a
vacation. I only use hotels for a clean bed, a place to relax, and a hot shower.
If you are the type that likes to stay in upscale places with all of the
amenities, this is not the place for you.
The free breakfast was good. Keep in mind, it is free so don't expect a gourmet
meal. But it is better than spending money on a breakfast you will forget by
tomorrow. They had the typical La Quinta items -- cold cereal, waffles, biscuits
& gravy, fruit, yogurt bagels, toast, etc.
There were a few negatives, although minor in my opinion. First, the elevators
are slow. We quit waiting for them and just used the stairs. Also, the free
parking was tight as the hotel seemed full. We had to really squeeze into some
spots. However, I don't blame the hotel, but other patrons who didn't know how
to park between the lines. They would instead take two stalls to park. Also, the
hotel is old and appears to be a purchased property that was converted into La
Quinta. But I feel that they have done a great job of remodeling the building to
make it very pleasant considering the age of the building.
Another great thing is the business/internet center where you could use the
internet and print for free. Most of the "upscale" hotels charge for this
service, yet La Quinta allows it for free. |
