I stayed here for one night when visiting a relative. Very clean hotel with very nice staff. The hotel is pretty centrally located in the CBD and is pretty much within walking distance of all the major downtown attractions and to the Monorail to the Space Needle. I would definitely stay again.

We just spent two nights here, generally we stay at the Pan Pacific but thought we would change it up. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We had three issues:
1) When we arrived in our room, the floor was soaked in the entrance way. We called the front desk and they offered to change our room. We were tired and not wanting to move so we said it was ok and accepted the bath mats they offered to have sent up to soak up the water. They said the floor had been cleaned earlier that day but should have been dried by now. It soaked through all of the six bath mats they provided. They also offered us a complimentary movie rental during our stay to make-up for the wet floor. We enjoyed the movie ($14.99 full price) but I was surprised to see a $3.40 charge for it when we checked out! I know it's only $3.40 but the only reason we chose to watch the movie is because it was offered to us due to a wet floor. They reversed the charge but that's not the point. It is only $3.40, the point is it was a hassle to get the charge reversed when it was for something we were offered for free. The floor was still wet when we left.
2) The pool closed at 11pm, there were still a few people paddling around when one of the employees came upstairs to shut it down. He was not friendly or courteous. A simple 'please' would have gone a long way. Even though we got a deal, we were still paying a fair chunk of change for our stay and you expect a certain level of professionalism.
3) When checking under one of the beds (they're all closed off like most hotels nowadays but there is still enough of a lip to make checking worthwhile) I found some garbage from a previous guest. I know it wasn't ours because we weren't in New York!
That said overall, the staff is great and this one guy was definitely not a representation of the entire staff. The rest were great and very friendly. The bell staff is prompt and efficient.
I would stay here again if I got a very good deal on a room, but I think we'll be going to the Pan Pacific next time. I said I would recommend this place to a friend if they want to stay downtown and only if they get a deal on the room.

Thank you for bring to our attention these issues. I have done some research and it appears that the carpet was shampooed earlier in the day so we’re surprised it was still wet and apologize that it didn’t dry completely. The mis-charge to your account was obviously a human error as the records show the movie was complimentary. We have used your comments constructively to review with our staff member who was asking guests to depart the pool. We take every review from this site, and the others, as a way to help us improve so thank you for this feedback. Similarly, regarding the item under the bed, we have reviewed this with our Housekeeping staff. The Room Attendants take great pride in their work so we are very sorry that this item was missed.
We certainly appreciate your comments about your overall experience with our staff and we hope that you will return to the Sheraton Seattle Hotel to give us an opportunity to make you change your mind about staying here in the future.

we stayed with family the week of July 14th - very clean and comfortable. We didn't have a car so the parking fees didn't apply. ( we took the link from the airport - 40 mins to Westlake and 3 block walk but only $2.00/person) the beds were super comfortable and the hotel was clean. we stayed in union tower and swam in the pool. ( small pool but clean with a view). Within walking distance of Pike's place, waterfront, shopping and restaurants. Very safe part of town.

Thank you for your kind words! Our location is the best in that it is in the core of the city and we are close to everything. I am happy to hear that you took advantage of our new light rail from the airport.
Thanks again and we hope to have you back again soon!

We stayed at the Sheraton after our Alaska cruise. We arrived around 8:30 am expecting to store our luggage until rooms were ready but they were able to check us right in! We stayed in the newly renovated tower and the rooms were beautiful, clean and very spacious. The location is convenient to everything - we walked to Pikes Market and to the monorail for a ride out the Space Needle. I loved everything about this hotel! The help was very friendly and courteous. When my teenagers didn't answer their wake up call security arrived at their room to make sure they were OK. I was glad we stayed here and I will definately stay here again. I almost forgot the best part - the beds were heavenly! After being in a cramped cruise cabin for a week, this hotel was just what we needed to enjoy our extra day in Seattle

I do not have to write too much about the Sheraton Seattle because all that is pictured and described on its web site is absolutely accurate. It is an excellent hotel with congenial service in a terrific location.
Additionally, I can say that it has one of the best fitness centers I’ve ever encountered in a hotel, with plenty of single purpose weight machines, a stepping board and sufficient floor space, in addition to the usual cardio, etc.

The Sheraton is conveniently located near the Pike Place Market, which is a destination that must be seen while in Seattle. It also located near the paid tram system that takes you to different areas within the city. The hotel was very elegant and full of business travelers. The room was spacious and was originally a bit pricey but luckily I found a great rate

Excellent stay at a top
notch hotel. In the city for a girls weekend - show, shopping, spa. Sheraton was absolutely perfect. From ruby red lemon drops in the bar to the room service (quick, yummy). Exceeded every expectation. Hotel of choice in Seattle!

I stayed at this sheraton for 20 nights in Q2 2008 for business and it exceeded my expectations. It was well decorated and had everything, pool, business center, fitness center with all modern facilities. Only downside was Parking which was very expensive. I would definitely recommend this for all business travelers.

We stayed at the Sheraton during a convention at the nearby convention center. The hotel staff were very friendly, and the concierge provided some excellent suggestions for dining and entertainment options in the area. My room was clean and everything worked. I truly wished they had wireless internet so you didn't have to be chained to the desk area. I also noticed two stations in the business center were not working when I visited the area. The 500 bonus points and $5 food/beverage coupon was a nice touch in lieu of housekeeping services during our visit. Overall, a good stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if I make it back to Seattle.
