In the past we stayed at another hotel down the road that was cheaper, had secure parking, free breakfast, and was clean.

The bed was clean and comfortable but that is all I can say good about this place.
The room had a smell of smoke and B.O. which was a good warm up since I was heading to NY. It was good prep for the subways.

The floor was stained and the common areas were well worn. While nothing happened to our car I did not feel secure leaving it there. To be honest with you the place was gross.

The staff was not mean but not real happy to answer questions nor did they seem happy to we were there.

Never mind the thin walls and stained sheets (which were gross); my car was stolen from the Red Roof Inn parking lot! I parked the car at 10pm on the evening I arrived. The next day my car was gone!! Aside from helping me to call the police, the hotel staff did little to assist me. The hotel has cameras monitoring the parking lot, but the management showed little interest in actually using the cameras to find out what happened. They instead put me in touch with their corporate "risk management" officer, whose only action was to leave a voice mail message on my cell phone informing me that Red Roof Inn denies any and all liability for the incident. My advice to travelers: if you must stay in the area, choose a different hotel, and look for secure parking.

I would say that this hotel is average. It is actually quiet for being so close to the airport. They were updating some of the rooms while we were there. The hotel did seem outdated. Several times we got the very last parking spot in the lot and I am not sure where we would have gone to park. There is no breakfast. The coffee bar they advertise is just coffee with a few creamer choices. I think they throw the term Coffee bar around too loosely. If you are used to staying at 4 star hotels this wouldn't be for you but if you are looking for a place to stay and are not picky. choose this one.

Note-Public transportation (train) is about 6 blocks away. You should plan a 30 minute walk. Denny's is about half way.

My husband and I stayed here 1 night after our cruise ship came back into port. The staff was very bubbly and helpful! They have a computer set up at the front desk so you can print boarding passes and such. That was awesome! They have a shuttle that takes you right to the SeaTac airport for free. It comes on the hour and at every 20 minutes.
They rooms were very clean and spacious. I was a little hestitant to book the hotel because of other reviews, but we were so glad we stayed there. For the price and proximity to the airport, it was perfect. Down the road there are several restaurants. ALSO, they let us check in very early. We would stay there again.
Having the washer/dryer available was AWESOME! For $3 you can wash and dry a load of clothes with soap. That was very beneficial just coming off a 7 day cruise!

Our stay at Red Roof SeaTac was quite enjoyable indeed, I have not got much to say to the hotel except that we absolutely got what we paid for.
A big room with two double beds, a desk, TV and Bathroom and complementary coffee in the lobby at all times.
Of course there is aircraft noise as the hotel is very close to the airport. Traffic however is almost non existent after 10:30 PM and the windows are quite good, this was no factor therefore.
The room was made up every day as expected, bathroom was not filthy as other travelers suggested.
The Inn is located very close to the airport, this means you need to have a car to get downtown quickly, otherwise it should also be possible to take the bus to Tukwila Intl. blvd. station and use the sound transit from there.

Reception staff was helpful, we checked out one day early and they arranged a refund so we did not pay for the extra night.

Overall I can definitely recommend the Inn to everybody, who does not want to spend too much on an accommodation.
