Cedar Brook Lodge Seatac

We found a beautiful Gem in Seattle, actually in Sea/Tac. Just
blocks from Sea/Tac airport found inside a neighborhood. Very
well maintained lodge with large rooms. The staff is very
professional and everybody is friendly. Free snacks in the
Community rooms (Ice cream, string cheese, water, chocolate
covered raisins, yogurt etc) No parking fees like you find
everywhere in Seattle but your only 15-20 minutes to downtown.
If you want to feel like your are staying at resort but still
close to all of the Seattle area has to offer Cedarbrook Lodge
is the place.

I have now stated at the Cedarbrook Lodge five times in the last
year while in Seattle for business. This hotel was formally the
conference center for Washington Mutual, so it has a lot of
great business features. It is surprisingly quiet even though it
is just a few minutes from the airport. You do not feel like you
are in the middle of an urban area, is there are some wetlands
adjacent to the property. The hotel is just minutes from
Interstate 5, so you can be in downtown Seattle or downtown
Tacoma quickly. Even better, there is a light rail station just
a few minutes a way that will take you to downtown Seattle in
about 20 min.
The Copper Leaf restaurant is a small, intimate room with
outstanding food. The hotel has a continental breakfast, and
free snacks including Häagen-Dazs ice cream. I am not sure what
more you could ask for in a business hotel.
My wife has also stayed there when traveling alone, and has been
treated exceptionally and feels very secure on the property.
This is our "go to" place when traveling to the Seattle area.

It's a pity this gem is by the airport, but i wont hold that
against Cedarbrook. But Downtown Seattle is pretty steep in
price so if you are looking to stay by the airport to save or
you just got to catch a flight, this is the place to hunker down
in. Excellent stay. Free snacks and water, absolutely
incredible. Room service is okay, though I wouldn't recommend
dinner. For a snack, however, go for it. The really thick Hot
chocolate is superb.

Found this really nice lodge/hotel near Sea-Tac Airport. We
shared room with the other couple (2 beds). Bathroom was really
clean, room was very reasonable size. I definitely loved the bed
and pillow. It was so comfortable we took naps everyday. The
hotel provides daily continental breakfast which was delicious.
Fresh bagels and bread everyday with fresh fruits. Oatmeal,
cereal, and also fresh smoked salmon. I made myself smoked
salmon bagel every morning along with my world famous starbucks
coffee. Yum! The hotel lobby/rest area also provides bottled
water, chips, yogurt, string cheese, and wait for it... Haagan
daz ice cream!!!!! What's there not to like about this hotel?
Free hotel parking, free snacks, and free breakfast. The hotel
is like 5 mins away from the airport, about 15-20 mins from
downtown Seattle. I would definitely come back and stay here
again.

My fiance and I stayed here for 2 nights in the Suite with a
fireplace. The staff was very friendly and the entire property
was beautiful!! It still has that lodge feel to it. There are
living room areas in parts of the hotel with books, couches and
a tv and an area with free snacks such as haagen dazs ice cream,
chocolate balls, cheeses and bottled water which was a very nice
touch.
A free shuttle takes you to and from the SEA airport as well as
the light link rail station nearby.
The only thing disappointing was the very limited selection of
breakfast options and seating available during this time. I
expected much more choices from a hotel of this nature. |
