This hotel is a PIT!!! Front desk staff is so rude. My mom and I are in Seattle
because of a flight delay, and I booked this hotel on hotwire. If I could do it
over, I would have paid $50 more for a decent hotel. This place is gross.
Website says transportation to local malls, and there is none. When I asked
about it, both Abdi and Jose (front desk) were extremely rude and I would almost
say hostile. At least 5+ ppl waiting at front desk, no organization, gross
hotel…stay elsewhere.

Very nice hotel with spacious rooms very close to the airport. Nice pool area
with hot tub. As usual with choice hotels, the hotel was very clean with all the
expected services. Friendly front staff as well.

Its true, while this hotel is not awful, its not great either. It is pretty
shabby and the smell is quite musty. While the hotel is now all non-smoking, I'm
pretty sure at one time our room was a smoking room. The bed was comfy and it
was cleaned properly. It just has a bit of an unclean feel to it because of the
age. Of course right after I stayed at a newer Hampton so there was really no
comparison of the two. What I did like is how close it is to the Light Rail
station, but next time I will splurge and stay at the Holiday Inn or the Hilton
which is on either side.

About the 4th time I have stayed here - Will stay again.
Hotel was recently updated to current Choice Standards, carpet, paint, granite
sink, etc. Staff was very helpful in correcting a reservation error made on my
part. Note: There is a "real" restaurant rather than the usual breakfast buffet.
Guests receive 15% off coupon for breakfast. Overall a pretty nice place to stay
- very close to airport. Shuttle arrived very quickly when I called at 11:45pm,
and was ready to take me back to the airport when I requested it in the morning.
Iron worked, Coffee maker worked, air worked - no complaints
Meets the needs of business traveler very well.
Room Tip: Request room on the side of the building that faces away from the
airport. Less street noise.

The best thing about this hotel was the location. It's just a 5 minute walk to
the light rail station and a 10-15 minute walk to the airport terminal.
Otherwise, the bed wasn't comfortable, the shower had weak pressure, and our AC
unit didn't work. It took the maintenance man an hour to come over and fix it,
and that was only after we complained a second time at the front desk. We
actually stayed here twice (2 separate nights), and while the second night was
better, we wouldn't stay here again. |
