Hotel Review of the Coast Gateway Hotel Seattle

Close enough to SEATAC Airport to walk, though shuttle service is convenient and
accommodating. Rooms are all you need, clean and well-appointed, but what makes
this hotel stand out is the helpful and friendly staff. I was impressed by how
they are willing to go the extra mile with a smile. I will definitely make this
my overnighter-at-SEATAC hotel.

Booked this hotel through Hotwire and couldn't have been happier. As this hotel
backs up to Concourse A of the airport, I thought it would be great to have a
room facing the airport. Upon check in I requested an airport side room and was
gioven one on the top floor overlooking the activities of SeaTac. The hotel was
clean, the check in and check out process was smooth and pleasant and the modest
breakfast was just enough to start the day. Overall, it was a great stay in an
excellent location.

Got this hotel via Top Secret hotels with Travelocity. Nothing to write home
about, however very clean, spacious and comfortable. Can literally see runways
from window however no airport noise. Within a 5-10 minute walk of Seattle's
Rapid Transit rail and another 20 mins to downtown. Great way to avoid higher
priced downtown hotels. The waffles at this hotel along with the rest of the
free breakfast were great! And FREE Wi-Fi!

This hotel is very close to the airport and provides excellent shuttle service.
Otherwise, the room is small, the bathroom beyond tiny, the bed is short and the
lighting terrible.

The Coast Gateway Hotel is a comfortable hotel located just minutes from Seatac
Airport. The rooms look newly renovated with new flat screen televisions. In a
standard room there is a queen bed. There are also rooms with two doubles or
kings. The queen was comfortable and the sheets were thick and soft. The sink is
outside the bathroom and the bathroom itself contains a full tub behind a glass
shower door. They serve a complimentary breakfast but there is a Denny’s and
Dave’s Diner within a block of two of the hotel. Definitely try Dave's.
A taxi to downtown Seattle is about $50.00 but the light rail to downtown is
just 6 blocks away and it only costs $2.75 for the 38 minute trip to Westlake
Terminal. The taxi takes 20 to 25 minutes so there is no time lost on the light
rail. Because this hotel is outside of downtown you can still get rooms in the
popular summer months and for half the price. Your mileage may vary. |
