We originally were only going to stay one night here and fly back to NYC....but
Hurricane Irene changed all that. We ended up staying SEVEN nights and the staff
could not have been more helpful and accommodating. I would in particular like
to mention Yuri, Melissa, Lisa and Kaya for being so nice, friendly and CALM
under a LOT of pressure - they never stopped smiling and being helpful - from
finding rooms for our party of 6 (3 rooms) to recommending places to eat.
I would definitely stay here again with my family - especially due to the
location near to Sea-Tac airport and the complimentary shuttle. Here's a list of
reasons why to stay here:
Close to Sea-Tac
Complimentary shuttle to Sea-Tac
Breakfast includes waffles, hard-boiled eggs, several types of bread, juice,
coffee, cereal (including instant hot) fresh fruit.
Breakfast served starting 4 AM - very nice for folks leaving early
Complimentary Wi-Fi
Complimentary newspapers including Seattle Times, WSJ, USA Today
Complimentary shuttle also drops you off at "Light Rail" that travels into
Seattle
IHOP in same parking lot - handy if you don't have a car and need lunch/dinner.
Good IHOP.
A/C unit in every room OR you can open a window
Easy access via car from highway
Shopping close by
Places to eat close by
Room rates very reasonable.
Rooms clean
2 desktop computers in lobby area
Comfortable sofa/chairs in lobby. other areas
Best of all - VERY pleasant staff all around - both at the front desk, the
shuttle driver and the many staff who clean the rooms and keep the breakfast
room clean.

I really can't think of anything negative to say about Sleep Inn at Seatac. The
staff was wonderful. Our flight inbound got cancelled, and they refunded our
money, when they didn't HAVE to. Also, our return flight was in jeapordy of
being cancelled, and they graciously booked us for following nights, just in
case it was cancelled. On top of that, the rooms are clean and spacious. The
design and the decor of the room was very nice as well. The breakfast was
good...waffle maker, bagels, eggs, fruit and the sort. The hotel was pretty
quiet, considering its proximity to the airport. They have very flexible hours
for the shuttle and breakfast as well. I was LOOKING for something to
critique...oh...our door creaked when opening! This is NOT the Radisson, but for
an affordable place near the airport, I'd go to the Sleep Inn.

I chose this hotel based on reviews. I can't believe they still allow smoking in
hotels but I could only smell it in the hallway. We were on the 2nd floor and
all the rooms had the no smoking signs.
The staff was very friendly and smiled even tho they were swamped. I have to say
that the even numbered rooms (we were in 220) back up to a small trailer park
and 1 guy likes to blast his music but he turned it down around 8.
The hotel is nice and fairly priced for what you get. Note to parents who have
kids that still take baths, no bathtub.
Here's where I want to vent - everything was great except OTHER travelers. The
people above us had kids who were running around ( stomp stomp stomp!) next door
to us had their metal doorstopper in the door and kept coming and going so that
thing banged constantly. Please remember to be kind to your fellow travelers!!!
We had to get upbeat 330am.

This hotel was very basic - barely edible breakfast, very small rooms,, right
next to trailer park.
I got bad allergies the first night we stayed here. I think it must have been a
chemical or animals previously having been in the room.
The great advantage is the hotel is only 5 minutes from the airport and the
shuttle is free (every 1/2 hour). Parking is free also, but it is bad luck if it
is all taken!

Everything positive with this stay. Staff was friendly, food was good, room was
comfy and clean. Shuttle to airport was reliable and prompt. The price for the
room was worth every penny.

I've stayed at this Sleep Inn several times over the last couple of years as
it's my hotel of choice for an overnight accommodation. What I appreciate so
much is that I know my room will be clean, because it always is. I know the
bathroom will be clean, because it always is. I know the bed will be comfortable
with ample pillows. I can count on the airport shuttle service to timely with a
friendly and cheerful driver. For whatever reason, I seem to arrive when Melissa
is on duty at the front desk, and big kudos to her for always making my check in
procedures smooth, efficient, and pleasant. Biggest thumbs up I can point to is
that due to my reliably positive experience at this Sleep Inn, when I recently
needed an overnight accommodation in a different city, I went looking for a
Sleep Inn. The Sea-Tac Sleep Inn is not meant to be a posh accommodation and
doesn't pretend to be. But what it does do very well is offer to the connecting
Sea-Tac passenger a great night's rest at a reasonable room rate along with
shuttle service and breakfast. |
