Stayed here July 2011. Room with two beds had a balcony facing Mt. Ranier.
Although there's a power line running through the view, on a clear day, it is
still breathtaking. The room was fresh and clean, even to my standards. Check in
was quick and the airport shuttle runs 24 hours a day. There's several fast food
and sit-down dining options within walking distance, and I felt safe walking by
myself even after 11pm. The WiFi is not exactly "free" as they try to tell
you...I ended up paying $6.95 for "full access". It's a 100% non-smoking hotel
that indicates that make accommodation for smokers outside. However, I didn't
see any sign of ashtrays outdoors...although I DID see a LOT of cigarette butts
laying around. The patio terrace was not tidied up for morning coffee. Chairs
had not been straightened and tables had not been wiped down, but there's an
outdoor fountain there which is a nice feature. Breakfast was the standard
Courtyard offerings with friendly and quick service. Overall it's a clean hotel
that is convenient to the airport. The balconies are a nice touch for smokers,
but not all rooms have them. They could provide a couple of ashtrays outdoors
for those of us who would prefer not to toss cigarette butts on the ground (I
found a place to throw mine away, but not everybody will go through the effort).

My family and I stay at this hotel fairly regularly during the Mariners season
so this last weekend would seemed no different initially. We heard the friendly,
"Welcome Back!' But didn't get that impression when dealing with hotel staff. We
were placed on a floor with many famillies that didn't know hotel etiquette.
After a long LOUD night (with little sleep) kids running up and down the halls
and screaming babies. We asked the front desk if we could move to another floor.
We were told rather RUDELY, they were full. We asked again later in the day as
the running/screaming children continued. Again, we were told they were full.
The front desk stated that they would talk to the families on the floor but our
2nd night was no different than the first. I called the front desk while we were
away and asked if they had rooms available for the night and they said they did.
We opted for a quieter hotel and actaully got sleep! How hard would it really
had been to change rooms for us to keep loyal customers? Was it really necessary
to LIE? And on top of that, we are not sure if they had cleaned the room from
the previous occupants!

It is always disappointing to hear that we failed to deliver the high level of
customer service which is our standard and which you have experienced during
your past visits to our location. As a frequent guest I’m certain you realize
that this was a unique situation and not typical of your previous stays at our
property. Our hotel does cater to all types of clientele and we do tend to have
more families with their children stay with us over long holiday weekends. We do
have procedures in place to address any noise issues which may occur, and if the
outcome you received from speaking with the front desk was unsatisfactory we do
wish you had brought this matter to the immediate attention of our management
team. It is difficult to know why you were informed we would be unable to move
you to a different room, as we do routinely handle those sorts of requests. It
does become more difficult to find an alternative room which still meets all of
your needs on evenings when our occupancy is high. We do thank you for giving us
an opportunity to explore how we may better serve our guests by alerting us to
the issues you encountered and hope that you will give us another chance, as I’m
certain we have met your expectations during your frequent stays in the past.

Not a new hotel but clean nevertheless. Had fridge and a microwave in room. I am
not bothered by the (Amtrak and Freight) trains that pass right at the back of
the hotel but others might find this a problem.

Easy to get on and off the freeway. Major mall is about a 5 minute drive away.
Other then a gas station, wendy's and 7-11 not much other options around. Got
the two bed standard room There was an extra lounge sofa and desk. Very
spacious. Sink is outside of the bathroom. Coffee is single serve enough for 2
cups. There is also not enough condiments (there was only one sugar and one
cream.) Other then that bed is super comfy and pillow are super soft which I
love. Internet is free, parking is sparse until you get to the back of the
hotel. Pool closes at 11pm and gym is 24 hrs. Stayed for 4 days great
experience.
