We picked this hotel after an Alaskan cruise because it was near the airport. As
we checked in we heard a lady complaining about how filthy her bathroom was. She
said she had to clean the toilet herself, and that the bathtub would not drain.
Our shower curtain smelled to sour that I refused to use the bathtub! The indoor
pool was huge but so COLD. We were later told that we could have requested it to
be warmed up. As we checked out, a lady was reporting something else out of
order and the desk clerk said she would inform maintenance. On the positive
side, there was a wonderful bellman (about age 67) who helped us with our bags
and drove the shuttle to the airport. There was a free hot breakfast also.Guest Reviews Holiday Inn Seatac Airport Hotel

I had made two separate reservations for two separate rooms several months
before the trip. One room for my husband and I and one room for the couple we
were traveling with. When we arrived, there was only one reservation. After much
ado, they finally found another room for us. When we got to the room, it was
occupied. What an embarrassing situation. The next room we moved into had a
broken toilet, which was quickly fixed.
Overall, the hotel was average. Location to the airport was great, and we did
use the airport shuttle.

My wife and I stayed here for one night before a cruise out of Seattle. First,
this is an airport hotel, and like all airport hotels there is some noise from
the airplanes. However, it was minimal considering it is RIGHT across the
street. Second, you can walk from the airport to the hotel, simply go through
the terminal towards the Link light rail station, then there is a covered bridge
across the busy street, then walk one block north and you are there! It is easy
to see the hotel the whole time, so you will not get lost.
Parking is charged after the first 20 minutes, but the light rail access is very
easy and you can get to most places of interest in Seattle, a one way ticket
into down town is $2.50 (compared to around $50-$60 for a cab) and takes 32
minutes. We did not have a car and did not need any cabs.
The rooms are modern and clean, coffee and tea on the desk, free WIFI and all
bathroom amenities.
The restaurant is nice, if a little small. Decent menu with reasonable prices
for a hotel restaurant. There is a business center with a few PC's and printers
available.
Overall it was a great room in a nice hotel. We won it on Priceline which made
it even better though, so I cannot comment on the normal rack rate.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. The doorways and
bathrooms were on the small side, making it fairly obvious that it was an older
building that had been recently redone, but the remodelers had done a pretty
thorough job. The furniture, fixtures and room itself were all in good shape,
and the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place
to other travelers.
Helpful staff, upscale feel, clean rooms, comfortable bed.
The bathroom was a tad small and cramped.
