Guest Review of the Radisson Hotel Gateway Seatac

This is literally right across the street from SEA-TAC airport.
Great beds and room service was quick & surprisingly tasty. Best
thing though, you can sleep in a bit before an early morning
flight since you are so close to the airport.

This hotel has reasonable amenities -- free wi-fi, coffee in the
room, bar/cafe, pool and fitness room. It's quiet enough for an
airport hotel, and it's well-located right across from the
airport (and next to 13 Coins restaurant). The decor seems a
little down at heel, especially once you get past the first
floor. It's great for that one-night stay before you fly out,
but it's just not a place you want to spend more than one night.
Also, we didn't care for the Sleep Number beds, unfortunately.

We had a long layover from 2PM on Sunday till 9AM Monday. The
hotel shuttle picked us up and drove us to the hotel. Even
though it was close enough to walk, it was easier to take the
shuttle since we were dragging suitcases and golf clubs. The
hotel rooms were clean and spacious. The sleep number beds were
very comfortable. After dropping our bags off, we walked the 10
mins to the light rail, paid $11 for a day pass for both of us
and rode to the Westlake drop, which was a 5 minute walk to
Pike's Market. The light rail was easy to navigate, very clean,
& cheap (compared to $50 cab fare). The next morning we were
able to sleep late since we were right across from the airport.
Highly recommend the Radisson and the light rail.

The Radisson is definitely within walking distance from Seatac
if you don't have much luggage. No need to wait on the free
shuttle.
The hotel is very clean and the lobby is quite large and very
nice. We enjoyed time there.
The rooms are a very good size and comfortable. Amenities are
pretty standard, and wireless Internet is free.
The front desk staff is quite nice, however they seemed to have
a limited knowledge of the area. We discovered a number of
restaurants within walking distance of the hotel (take a left
out of the lobby for a Denny's, Jack in the Box, Taco Bell,
Roaster's Ale House, and a very good Thai restaurant), yet the
front desk staff knew of just two of them.
There is a complimentary shuttle, but it only takes you to the
airport or to the light rail station. The hotel is 40 minutes
from downtown on the rail.
Negatives: (1) The breakfast buffet looked quite good, but it is
$13 per person so we walked to Denny's. (2) The Sleep Number
Beds in the rooms are hard to work with and I thought they were
horribly uncomfortable.
Overall, this hotel is very convenient to the interstate and the
airport. The staff is friendly but not too knowledgeable. The
rooms are clean and large, but the beds are not comfortable.
Ultimately, we enjoyed our stay here.

We flew into Seattle late so we decided to stay at a hotel near
the airport for the first night of the trip. There was a shuttle
that had shown up right when we got outside which was nice. The
room was average but the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. No
breakfast included. When we went downstairs to check out we had
to wait about 10 minutes while the man at the front desk chatted
with someone. He was not very friendly when he did finally wait
