Hate to be the wet blanket in the midst of other favorable reviews. This is an older property that is relying on the Red Lion chain's reputation. The rooms are large and kept clean, bed was very comfortable. Linens and towels fine. Old style TV, although some of the rooms have new ones. No on site restaurant, although just next door. Free USA Today at the front desk but you have to ask for it. The big problem is heat/AC. You get one or the other with their old style system. Seattle gets cold at night in the summer and you can't get heat in the room, they have to send a space heater in-and it's less than satisfactory. You turn the wall thermostat up and it just blows cold air. Location is just across from the airport and a short walk to the light rail station. There are better airport hotel options.

We stayed at this hotel only one night. The lobby and front desk did not give a very good first impression. The room seems outdated and it needs a makeover. There's a charge for Internet use, no free breakfast, $2.00 for a bottle of water in the room( brought a big case at target for $3.00), Doesn't seem safe in the surrounding area, can hear loud plumbing noise in the morning. However, parking is $10.00/night, free shuttle to mall across from hotel, hotel is very close to airport, less than 5 minutes drive, the bed was firm.

I stayed here the night before my flight back to Europe. I'd been traveling for three weeks and needed a quiet, restful night and that's exactly what I got. I don't have a clue what amenities they offer other than free, robust wifi, but I can tell you I slept very well and took an incredible shower, and that the airport is very close by (yet no jet noise). If you need an airport hotel in Seatac, you can't do better.

Getting around in Seattle requires a solid base and this property meets or exceeds all expectations. It's across the street from the airport, is close to I-5 and is on a major regional highway, as well as within walking distance to the new monorail to the downtown core. The front desk staff are always courteous and efficient getting us in and out and they certainly know the area and can make good recommendations. The rooms are large, well-appointed, quiet in spite of proximity to the airport and kept very clean. Gregory's, immediately adjacent provides a hearty breakfast and is a grand place to chat with folks over a cocktail. We often travel with our greyhound and are made to feel very comfortable with our pet. I gladly make this my base of operations whenever I'm in the Seattle area.

We had to pay for parking our car because we were not a member of the hotel chain. The pillows on the bed were not very comfortable and bed was hard. It was ok for a one night stay but I would not go back if I am in Seattle.
