I stayed here for a one night. Room was ok but was suppose to be non-smoking and
had burns everywhere! The lady at the front desk was rude and not helpful. I
used it as a park and fly from SeaTac to Oakland. My car was there from Wed
night to Monday night. The rude lady at the front said they never had any
problems and reassured me everything would be fine, they have 24 hour security
cameras that are monitored and you have to sign the wavier. I came back Monday
night to car that had been broken into and they tried to STEAL it! So much for
your surveillance! I will never stay there again. The lady at the front desk on
my return was the same for my arrival and again was rude!

This is an airport hotel, and an older property. The common spaces and hallways
are a bit run-down looking.
But the rooms were clean and in good shape, and the staff were friendly and
helpful. They has a computer set up from which we could print boarding passes.
We ended up spending three nights (one on our arrival in Seattle, and,
unexpectedly, two on our departure, after we missed a flight :( ) Check out time
was 11 am, but staff were friendly and generous when we asked for noon
checkouts.
The WiFi worked, but connections were slow, and occasionally, unaccountably,
required me to re-log in (press a button on a webpage to re-accept terms of
service), which was annoying when it interrupted a long download.
The airport shuttle is fine, but it can be bit slow. The hotel is just a few
blocks from the airport entrance, but budget a full 40 minutes from when you
notify reception that you need it. For us, it took up to 20/25 minutes for the
van to show. Plus, the "courtesy van" drop-off at the Seattle airport is
terrible (which is not the hotel's fault). All courtesy vans drop you on the
third floor of the parking lot. You have to go up an elevator, over a bridge and
then up another elevator before you get to the ticketing and baggage drop-off
area. As I mentioned, we missed a flight. This wasn't the hotel shuttle's fault
-- we screwed up the time, and got a late start. Still, had the shuttle come
more quickly it might have saved us from our own incompetence.
Overall, we'd recommend this hotel for a Seattle airport overnight, because the
rooms were fine, but mostly because the people were nice.

I don't have too many complaints but this place it needs some work. Room was
clean and bed wasn't too bad. These place has seen better days and they should
invest in improvement, the exercise room needs lots improvement for example.
Upon arrival a woman that look Samoan was rude initially but quickly fixed her
attitude. Next day the staff had changed and was much much better. The sheets in
the bed didn't smell like sheets at a classier hotels but it is the red roof
inn. I paid about 85 or 90 per night here and thought I over paid.

Well worth the money. I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted to make sure I had
a clean hotel. This is exactly what I wanted, a clean, simple, affordable hotel.
I only stayed one night but wouldn't have had any problem staying longer.
Comfortable beds, helpful staff, good parking. No breakfast but still worth it.
Didn't take long to drive to from downtown Seattle but I was driving late at
night and around noon so I don't know how long it takes during peak times/with
traffic. |
