The reviews for this place were good, so I thought it would be great. The hotel
shuttle was prompt, the staff lovely, the rooms mediocre at best. The real
problem was that the hotel is practically ON TOP of the train tracks. I managed
to tune it out so I could sleep, but my husband was awake all night listening to
the crazy rumble. NOT a great place to catch some zzz's before your trip!!!

Large rooms
Good price
Breakfast included was great. Had some issues (they forgot to give us the
breakfast tickets, and then time to 'reprint them'). Stay on that as breakfast
is good and a good deal.
13 days of parking great
We had room on back side and were woken up at 12:30 a.m. and 5 a.m. by very loud
train
Seemed some issues with ventilation, very smoky smell coming out of washroom
vent, actually woke my wife up, was quite strong. Our friends in another room,
did not have that experience.
Clean.

We stayed here overnight whilst travelling.
It was basic but did the job. As we were travelling around Thanksgiving time,
the restaurant was shut so we had to get food for dinner and breakfast from the
gas station across the road. Staff were helpful, but the hotel had an 'empty'
feeling to it.
This is fine for a quick overnight stay but not much else.

I really wanted to give this one a thumbs up because they gave me such a great
rate on a room with a jacuzzi in it. And the women manning the front desk were
outstanding in their approach to customer service. At first I was very pleased
with my choice.
The room itself was pretty good also. Nice big bed, flat screen tv, nice
computer desk and internet. The free parking is also a big plus for me. It
appears also that housekeeping is doing a very good job.
But after a hard day of driving I was looking forward to a soak in a jacuzzi.
After filling it up I jumped in and was overwhelmed by the smell of mold. I
could not see from where until I turned around and noticed the chalking and tile
around the tub have been badly neglected. What a let down. Some basic
maintenance along the way forgotten and now the whole room experience is
basically ruined.
Also I will mention that getting to and from this hotel is a real challenge. The
ramps from the I5 are very confusing if you do not know them. Be prepared to
turn around a few times going in and out.

Nice, clean, and basic. Indoor pool and fairly well equipped gym. New lobby with
limited dining. I only have two complaints. First, there is no thermostat. Only
a window unit with hot/cold knob. Second, it's practically on a railroad track.
The good news is the trains didn't run at night. Okay hotel if you dont need to
sleep during the day. |
