I must say this is a nice hotel. WE stay here 11/21/2011 just passing through on our way to Spokane.
The room was clean but the carpet smelled. Like it had gotten wet and never really dried so it has the funk smell to it. Also the room got stuffy a lot. I was also traveling with my 3 month old infant. I ask for crib or Play yard. The play yard was gross… The thing was broken and covered in spit up stains.
There breakfast was good. The Staff was GREAT, but as for the room they really need to clean there carpets…

I stay in a lot of Marriott's when I travel for work, so it was a no-brainer for me to stay here when I had to layover for the night at SeaTac on the way back east. The hotel certainly is very convenient to the airport, but the shuttle took forever to pick me up. The clerks were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself seemed a bit dated compared to most Marriott brands. It is clean, and the rooms are good-sized, but mine at least had the funkiest layout of any hotel I've been in recently (and I stayed in hotels more than 60 nights this past year), with the vanity and sink in the room and having to twist practically sideways to use the loo. The decor was pretty tired too. 90's commercial chic. For some reason the hallway outside my room reeked of cigarette smoke even tough the room itself was ok. For the price ($100+/night) I'd expect a lot more. I probably will not stay at this Fairfield Inn again given the plethora of other choices (both Marriott and competitors) in the area for the same price.

Came down the night before a graduation and was pleasantly surprised! The rooms are nice and big. Ours was clean and everything was in good order. Amenities were nice. We had a small fridge, microwave and coffee pot.
The pool and hot tub were great!! The kids loved it!
And the bed...I wanted to take it home! It was probably the most comfortable bed I have EVER stayed in.

My only criticisms: Breakfast. Needs more options for those of us that dont like eating tons of carbs for breakfast.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel on Labor day. We got ourselves a king-sized bed with a whirlpool tub. I was quite impressed by the size of this tub - looked like a bathtub for a 600lb man. I've been in many jacuzzi suites and this was quite the tub. The room included a fridge and microwave. Our bed wasn't so comfy, a bit on the hard side.
To be a bit nit-picky, while looking up, I couldn't get over the really bad job they did on the crown moldings. Doesn't really affect my stay, but it needed some attention.
The stay was decent, we paid $145 after taxes. I may come back again based on the whirlpool tub, but other than that, it was your average hotel room.

Came in on a late flight to SEATAC and did not want to try to get downtown with the family and all the luggage at that time so stayed one night here. Shuttle from the airport was packed (shared with the Holiday Inn Express next door) but got us there quickly. Room was perfectly fine for what we needed. Buffet breakfast was crowded on Saturday morning but the front desk offered us the shuttle to go to IHOP. Picked us up when we were done. Hoped but did not expect the shuttle might take us to the Marriott Waterfront Seattle, our next hotel, Unfortunately not but the front desk got us a towncar that took us for $38 which was a deal.

Getting a good hot breakfast is key to the day. When it's included in your room, along with free internet and a free airport shuttle, it's a good deal. Encompassing all that is sound quality customer service, a newly renovated lobby and rooms, a good fitness room, great hot tub and pool, it all adds up to a great stay. Don't book on the west side of the hotel unless you like waking up to planes taking off. Book top floor so that those above you don't wake you up. Beds a new and comfortable. Good hotel for kids. Great location. 5 minutes to the airport. 10 minutes to Southcenter shopping.

Great hotel as the rooms were very clean and the staff exceptional. We traveled from Michigan to Seattle to Alaska staying here on our way there and back and were very happy with the accommodations. I would rate this hotel as one of the best I have stayed in. The free shuttle to the airport is another plus and Seattle has an excellent public transportation system so we did not have to rent a car.
