What Guest are saying about Red Roof Inn Seatac

Room was supposed to be non-smoking. However, it was smoked in so the room had been over perfumed with some kind of fragrance that made me physically ill. The window was wide open trying to air the room out and it was 39 degrees outside. We had a reservation for a king bed in the back away from the street and airport. They only had two queens left when we arrived. I would only recommend staying here if you are someone who can sleep anywhere and have low standards for hotels.

Stayed here in November for the 2nd time using the Park and Fly option. The room was quite nice and very clean. We used the Denny;s coupon they gave at checkin for dinner - very nice. The shuttle was on time both dropping us off and picking us up 19 days later. The shuttle driver who picked us up suggested a different route north to Vancouver as we would be in rush hour traffic. I think he saved us at least 30 minutes.
Will certainly stay here again.

I stayed here for a dancing conference and was late one morning. The shuttle didn't arrive on time so the manager took me in his personal car! They were always super helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable enough.

This motel is conveniently located right in front of the SeaTac airport.
Rooms are adequate with basic amenities. Although the hallways and pubic areas needed some refurbishing, the room itself was clean and comfortable.
Free wifi worked decently. Tea/coffee in the lobby. Convenient, small outside parking. Located next to a Shell Station convenience store.
The front desk staff was very friendly.
Overall, fine for one overnight close to the airport.

In the past we stayed at another hotel down the road that was cheaper, had secure parking, free breakfast, and was clean.

The bed was clean and comfortable but that is all I can say good about this place.
The room had a smell of smoke and B.O. which was a good warm up since I was heading to NY. It was good prep for the subways.

The floor was stained and the common areas were well worn. While nothing happened to our car I did not feel secure leaving it there. To be honest with you the place was gross.

The staff was not mean but not real happy to answer questions nor did they seem happy to we were there.

Never mind the thin walls and stained sheets (which were gross); my car was stolen from the Red Roof Inn parking lot! I parked the car at 10pm on the evening I arrived. The next day my car was gone!! Aside from helping me to call the police, the hotel staff did little to assist me. The hotel has cameras monitoring the parking lot, but the management showed little interest in actually using the cameras to find out what happened. They instead put me in touch with their corporate "risk management" officer, whose only action was to leave a voice mail message on my cell phone informing me that Red Roof Inn denies any and all liability for the incident. My advice to travelers: if you must stay in the area, choose a different hotel, and look for secure parking.

I would say that this hotel is average. It is actually quiet for being so close to the airport. They were updating some of the rooms while we were there. The hotel did seem outdated. Several times we got the very last parking spot in the lot and I am not sure where we would have gone to park. There is no breakfast. The coffee bar they advertise is just coffee with a few creamer choices. I think they throw the term Coffee bar around too loosely. If you are used to staying at 4 star hotels this wouldn't be for you but if you are looking for a place to stay and are not picky. choose this one.

Note-Public transportation (train) is about 6 blocks away. You should plan a 30 minute walk. Denny's is about half way.
