Hotel Review of the Four Points Seattle Center
18 December 2011
Stayed at the Four Points for 6 nights and was pleased with the experience. The
Space Needle and Science Center are 5-10 mins' walk away, while downtown is
about 25 min away, but buses are available a block away. It's a great place if
you're looking for something cheaper, yet not too far from downtown. Staff and
service were friendly and helpful.
The newly renovated room was comfy and the bed was very good. The hotel provides
free wifi, with public computers/printer downstairs if you don't have your own.
There is a supermarket (QFC) just two blocks away and several restaurants within
a 5-10 min walk. There is also a coin-operated laundry should you need to clean
some clothes.
In all, it was a good stay and good value - would gladly stay there again.

This location is conveniently located near the Space Needle (not walking
distance, but a very short car ride away) and one block away from a large
supermarket that I could easily walk to and get some basic essentials. The
parking is gated, safe, and is much more inexpensive than the other hotels in
central Downtown Seattle. I got a fantastic weekend rate, making the stay worth
it even though the AC in my room was a tad noisy for my comfort (it may have
just been my particular room). Overall, the hotel was definitely worth the price
and I would stay again.

Just spent two nights at this hotel and they beds are so comfy!! Slept great for
not being in my own bed. Nice rooms, friendly staff, great water pressure in the
shower. Only real downside was the complementary coffee sucks! Go to Starbucks
at the QFC around the corner or Citizen cafe. Would be nice to have a small
fridge, but we just made an ice bin out of the recycling container. All in all
good place for the value and a good location.

What a disappointment. I had pre-booked months in advance because we were
attending a graduation at the University. I booked directly from their web site
because I wanted a larger suite and did not feel comfortable doing that through
one of the on-line discounters. The hotel was under going serious renovation
(not noted when I booked). Hotel specified a free breakfast daily - what we got
was a bag of junk. When we got there, the 90 year old that was with us would
have liked to take a quick nap but couldn't due to the loud sawing noises coming
through the walls. Carpets were ripped up in places and the whole floors were in
a disarray. Why they put us so close to the construction is beyond me. Never
again!!!

We recently stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites. Our understanding is that it has
been purchased by Sheraton and is going thru a major renovation. The rooms are
large, beds are great and the location is a bit industrial but close to the
Needle, museum etc. The first issues we had was the tv remote was not working
and that was never resolved. The second issue was the so called breakfast
included was apples, oranges, juice and coffee on a table in the hallway on the
second floor (totally unacceptable!) Probably will be an OK hotel after the
renovations but make sure to call and inquire first. |
