Hotel Review of the La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown

beautiful remodelling, clean, quiet rooms, the most helpful and courteous
staff...just what we needed after 8 days of traveling from Anchorage, Alaska.
The La Quinta Inn Seattle Downtown is within blocks of the space needle and many
local restaurants along with lots of museums, parks, and shops to browse. nice
stay & would totally recommend this hotel for location and comfort! an added
plus...cats and dogs are welcome with no additional fee!

Wonderful stay! Very friendly front desk, friendly to our pet and the hotel was
clean the beds were really really comfy. Nice pillows and duvets! Was not
expecting the hotel to be this nice with such a reasonable price and probably
the only downtown hotel with free parking. Went to a Seahawks game and used the
public transport to get to and from the game and it was free too! Can't say
anything bad and would use this hotel again and again when we travel to Seattle.
For pet owners there is a doggie park just around the corner and a nice park
right beside it if you would rather keep your dog on leash and just go for a
nice stroll. We walked around downtown at night with our pet and it was very
clean and we felt very safe. Nice clean city had a great time!

I have driven by this hotel many times and never been impressed. From the
outside it is drab and dull at best. I happen to get and room here via Hotwire
and what a surprise I had! This is probably the nicest mid priced hotel in
Seattle. My room was large with a sliding glass door and full balcony (no view
of anything except the office building across the alley). The room was totally
modern with new furnishings, refrigerator, and microwave. The wi-fi worked well,
they have free parking, and a free breakfast which is above the standard.
The hotel is not really within walking distance of most of the sites, however,
it is just around the corner from the Lake Union streetcar line which goes
directly into the downtown shopping area in about 5 min.
Overall this is THE place to stay in Seattle for above average accommodations
and a good price!

We wanted to stay in Seattle for a couple of nights after a trip to Vancouver,
but it was right around the same time as a Seahawks game, so all the better
hotels were booked up or charging a fortune, so we opted for the LaQuinta. First
off, the location is quite good. It's much closer to downtown then it looks on
the map. Maybe a 15 minute walk to the Pikes Place market - and it's a nice walk
as long as you avoid one or two shady blocks nearby (namely the one with the
strip club on it). The Space Needle was even closer. The hotel is right off the
highway and easy to find. There is an amazing Whole Foods right nearby and since
you'll have a fridge in your suite, you can pick up some snacks and stuff to
keep in the room. Lots of freebies with the stay - free parking (covered), free
wifi, free movies on demand (limited), free breakfast (with hot stuff like eggs
and waffles), free afternoon cookies, and free fun time with the puffer fish in
the lobby. We were staying with a baby and they had a crib in the room waiting
for us. Rooms were big and clean. The staff was nice and helpful. We were really
happy with our stay. |
