Very clean and quiet. Had a great breakfast in the attached restaurant. Would
stay at the Marriott Hotel Seattle again.

Marriott Hotel Seattle has Great service with nice rooms. We were a party of 2
adults and 2 children, we had 2 double beds which gave us plenty of room. I
really liked the pool that went from inside to out, jacuzzi was really nice too
(kept the kids happy at the end of long days sightseeing!). Location was ok and
you could walk to all attractions but we did start to get cabs at the end.

Stayed here for 5 days in early December. The location is right across the
street from the waterfront with a great view of Puget Sound if you have a water
view room. Very comfortable, clean room. You can explore most of downtown
Seattle from this location if you don't mind walking. We like to walk so it was
perfect for us. There is a public elevator right next to the hotel that takes
some of the hike out of getting to the Public Market. The hotel staff was very
friendly and helpful. We did all 5 days in Seattle without a car from this
hotel. Take the train fron SeaTac to the end of the line in Seattle and then
grab a taxi from there to the hotel. It is just as fast as a taxi and costs $10
for 2 people instead of $40. Be sure to check out the happy hour deals in the
hotel bar. They have some good beers and tasty snacks at great prices.

I stayed in a King water view room. Watched the ferries come in and out wile
relaxing on the most comfortable bed. Although I faced Alaskan Way it was still
very quite. The staff was helpful and friendly. The only downside is that there
was no wi-fi only wired internet Would definitely stay. again, either fro
business or pleasure.

I loved staying at this hotel because it's downtown and walking distance to Pike
Market (a must see and where the original Starbucks is located that hasn't
changed since the '70s!). It's right on the water so the balcony views are
incredible. Having a walk-on balcony makes the place feel more like home than a
hotel. The hotel has a good restaurant and a Starbucks is just across the
street.
This is the first hotel whose shampoo, conditioner, and lotion I've used because
it's all from BATH & BODY WORKS. How cool is that? You know it's good stuff
then. :) The hotel was very clean and quiet. At home I have to sleep with a loud
fan on to block out noise (I'm a light sleeper), but I never heard any voices or
loud noises that woke me up. That's rare for me at hotels!
Negatives:
- There is no wireless internet, so you have to plug into an ethernet card on
the wall to access internet, so you must sit at the desk where the cord is- no
internet surfing or working on the bed! Internet is $12.95 a day, just fyi.
- The bed was a little too firm for me, but the bedding and pillows were
incredibly comfortable, so that helped tremendously.
- There is no mini fridge in the room to store drinks or food.
Even though there were a few negatives, they weren't deal breakers, and I would
stay here again! A great place to stay for your first time in Seattle like it
was for me! |
