Hotel Review of the Four Points Seattle Center

Very handy to everything, rooms were nice but air conditioning not 100%, not
cool enough. Pass on the continental breakfast.

Stayed here post cruise. Was about a 5 minute taxi ride from Port. Room wasn't
ready upon arrival at 9am, but we did not expect it to be. They gladly stored
our luggage, and then we walked about 4 blocks to Seattle Center, where we
caught the monorail to downtown. Walked to Pike Place Market and spent the
morning there. Starbucks first store is right across street and a very busy
place on Saturday morning. Walked in downtown, ate lunch and took monorail back
to Seattle Center visiting that area before heading back to hotel. Stopped at a
rather large grocery store right across street from Hotel and picked up a few
things. Check in went smoothly. Room was very clean. Husband slept like a baby,
but I think I had too much caffeine (from Starbucks) and didn't sleep all that
well. A/C, heater made some little noises that kept waking me up. A lot of
construction going on at the hotel, which they made us aware of before hand and
discounted our room if we still chose to stay. The construction did not bother
us at all although we didn't get breakfast but they made carry out bag lunches
for us. Would stay again as it was a very convenient location.

We stayed here most recently in February of 2011, meeting some Norwegian friends
who were coming back from Hawaii. It was the second time we had stayed here and
we will definitely be back. The staff is phenomenally friendly and
accommodating. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. Breakfast is more than
adequate and if you need something different to eat there is a large market and
deli two blocks away. The Seattle Center is a 4 or 5 block walk also. This is a
great place to stay if you have an activity to attend at the Center and need
overnight accommodations. They also have a shuttle that will drop you and pick
you up within a certain distance of the hotel. This hotel is a great value for
Seattle and is really worth a try.

We received an e-mail several weeks before our trip, informing us that the hotel
is undergoing renovations and giving us not only the option of rebooking
elsewhere (and we had a prepaid, non refundable reservation), but the names and
phone numbers of other hotels in the area. After researching the options, we
decided to stay with this hotel since the prices of other hotels were
considerably higher, and lower priced hotels weren't located as conveniently. In
fact, as our travel plans changed, we ended up adding an extra night in Seattle,
and were charged the same rate for our fourth night as our prepaid nights.
Yes, it's definitely being renovated. There are tarps and plywood in many areas,
and during the day there is plenty of construction noise (and workers moving
about). Half of their underground parking (free) was unavailable. But our room
was spacious (2 full-size beds and a seating area with a sofabed) and clean. The
bathroom had plenty of room as well.
The desk staff was friendly and helpful, even just after midnight (our flights
were significantly delayed).
All in all, a good stay.

The Comfort Suites in Downtown Seattle was a great find! The front desk staff
greets you with a smile and a warm welcome. They are knowledgeable and eager to
help. I booked a king suite for 3 travelers and it was reasonable. and
accommodating with a separate bedroom, microwave, coffeepot, refrig and plenty
of space. The location is within walking distance of public transportation and
restaurants. It was a good choice for our first visit to Seattle.
