Hotel Review of the Inn at Queen Anne Seattle

A heritage hotel was a nice clean hotel. The rooms had a little kitchen which
came in very handy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close by everything.
Spec needle is walking distance 15mins approx. Downtown is just a short monorail
ride after a 10-13min walk.

Inn at Queen Anne is an older boutique hotel with age-appropriate decorations in
the halls and lobby. My room was basic but clean and freshly painted. A view of
the Space Needle loomed large out the window; it is only 4 blocks away. There
was a small full kitchen, complete with gas stove and oven, bar refrigerator,
microwave, and pots, dishes, and utensils. There are 2 supermarkets within 2
blocks, so it is easy to get whatever you want to eat in. But there are a very
large number of restaurants of all kinds within a few blocks.
Downtown Seattle is a 10 minute bus ride away; the buses run frequently and to
after midnight.
On the down side, there is no elevator in the 3 story building. And the free
wi-fi was up and down most of the time. Also there was major construction across
the street that started at 7am on weekdays. It was hard to sleep in with the
nails being pounding incessantly. That should be a temporary thing since they
were building quickly.
I had a weekly rate for my 11 day stay and the price was the best.

We stayed here on the way to an Alaska Cruise. They offered a special with a
Town car airport pickup and drop off the next day to the cruise ship. It was on
time. If you are going on an Alaska Cruise this is a great place to stay for
night before the cruise. Brad was very accommodating in helping get all of our
party to the hotel even though we had different flight times.
This is a historical hotel built in 1918 so do expect all the modern amenities
but the location and the staff make up for any shortcomings. Very convenient to
all the main tourist attractions of Seattle and there is a 24 hour grocery store
just up the street that has all kinds of healthy organic food and produce.
One of the desk clerks Devin is a photographer and he had lots of tips on the
best places to take great shots of Seattle. He also had a creative solution for
a member of my party that needed to hook up a piece of medical equipment.
Remember this is an older building.
The rooms were clean and even though there is a busy street outside there was
little noise in the rooms even with a window open. I suspect it could get noisy
after an event at the sports arena down the street. Lots of nice restaurants in
the area within one to two blocks. If you don't like street noise ask for a room
further back...some rooms have basic kitchens

Located in the heart of Queen Anne. Lots to do in this area. Easy access to down
town Seattle. Cab fare is only about 7 dollars to Pioneer Square from here. The
rooms are cozy and as expected for a historical hotel. The service was friendly
and very helpful. Price was good. Would definitely stay here again.

i scoured the net trying to find a place to stay in
Seattle cheaply. Just needed one night close to where I needed to pick up my
car the next day. (i got in to late to get car the same day) This hotel was the
cheapest and closest walk to car rental place. I got the room for 99 bucks.
that's a deal in Seattle....it had a little mini kitchen in it too. But I wasn't
there to use it. It is very noisy (in my terms) from road traffic...so I put the
fan on to drown it out. Its not the Hilton, kind of worn down but if looking for
cheap digs not bad. People at front desk very helpful and nice. Great grocery
store right up street...metropolitan....I LOVED that store. Around the block was
many bars, stores and restaurants. Close to space needle and not far from the
water. Not sure I would stay there again. In fact I had to book a place to stay
last night of my trip before flight out next day and I was going to stay there
again but went with Warwick instead....but that was $179. awesome spot....but
thats another review. |
