Nice hotel in the heart of downtown. The hotel was clean and everyone was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was simple and okay, nothing fancy. The Location was the best and a selling point for staying there. Easy to get around. Taxis were fast and the price was very reasonable. The bakery across the street is well worth the long lines. Breakfast and lunch were worth the wait. Would stay here again

Good Value, Great Location. Underground parking which can be included in rate. Breakfast included in rate was good, and the outdoor deck is a plus when the weather is decent, especially for a downtown hotel. a couple options within the hotel for dinner/drinks, and location is right in the heart of downtown shopping and restaurants.

I love everything about this hotel. Stayed several times. Great location. Nice staff. Big rooms. Great views. Not the cheapest in town and parking is a little pricey, but so central. Clean. Excellent with pets. They give you a doggie bag for your dogs with treats and the pet rooms are very well deep cleaned. Definitely staying next time I go. Only rated value as 4 as it's relative. But great staff, cleaners and designers don't come cheap at the end of the day, so not a bargain but reasonable.

We stayed at Red Lion hotel for one night, July 16, before our Alaskan cruise. We chose this hotel based on its central location downtown. It’s about 4 blocks from Pike Place Market, 2 blocks from the monorail station, and about 10 blocks from Seattle Center and the Space Needle. There were also plenty of dining and shopping choices surrounding.

Our room was on the 8th floor and had a view of the building across the street. My parents’ room was on the 11th floor and had a great view of the waterfront. The view is evidently luck-of-the-draw because we had booked the same rooms. Both rooms were well-furnished and clean. The only thing lacking was a safe in the rooms--not a big deal for a one-night stay, but for a longer stay could be a problem for some travelers.

A free coffee station is located in the lobby in the mornings. Internet service was free as well and had a good connection speed in our room. Check-out time was 12pm, perfect for our cruise ship departure. The bellman can also store luggage for guests after check-out time if needed.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to fellow cruisers in Seattle. While the price was high due to the time of year, it was still reasonable compared to other hotels in the area.
