Hotel Review of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Seattle

We could hear everything from our neighbors under the door. To be fair we were there as part of a comic book convention and we should have thought of the type of teenagers, etc. that would be there at the same time. I think odd numbered rooms face the highway and it was HORRIBLY noisy. We complained and were switched sides and it was very nice for sleeping. On the other side of the hotel the ear plugs they provided weren't enough to help me sleep! We'll not stay here again. We were in a high numbered room and the highway noise was still horrible.

I go to Seattle monthly and stay at the Crowne about 60% of the time. It's a nice hotel with a really friendly staff. For being downtown, the location is really great. You can walk to everything. (mind you, that you'll have to walk up and down a hill to get to Pike's Market and it is quite steep). You are 2 blocks off the major shopping street. It is worth paying to be on the club level; you get access to the upper floor where they provide appetizers at night and breakfast in the morning. Very convenient for regular, business travelers who don't care about eating out at different restaurants every day/night or people who want to save money. Beware that parking is very expensive. But, it's like that everywhere in downtown Seattle. The workout facility is adequate. The hotel has provided me amenities when I've lost them at the airport (toothpaste, deodorant). Bathrooms are a little dated but they are clean and nice (and appropriate for the price.) Staff is very friendly. They offer a business center with internet but there's a fee and it's fairly expensive.

Room Tip: Go club level. ask for view of the space needle.

I was instantly impressed with the service of the staff- not only were they friendly but they were very accommodating!
We were there with another couple and we both had rooms with a great view overlooking Seattle!
The only thing that I would have to complain about was lack of free wifi for paying patrons. I think that this day and age it should be a given. $20/day is a little steep.
There is a free business center provided for guests- and it even has a free printer. This was great- but wifi would have been even better.
We WILL be back - we absolutely loved the whole experience and I was tempted to take home one of the pillows because it was so darn comfortable!

Flew up for a day of shopping with my Mom. Hotel is nice & clean and comfortable beds. We had a great view of the Space Needle. Cute little night package that includes an eye mask, ear plugs and a linen lavender spray. I thought it was a nice touch! You can walk to everything. So many shops and places to eat. We did eat at Tulio's around the corner and it was delicious! Fresh Halibut and wonder waiters. Do try if you have time. The lobby is small, but they have a computer out there where you can print your boarding pass. Very handy. And to get back to the airport take the Downtowner airporter $15. instead of a taxi which is $40. They can arrange that for you. I enjoyed my first visit to Seattle and look forward to returning.
