Hotel Review of the Four Points Seattle Downtown
June 13, 2011
This place is a gem of reasonably priced hotels in a fantastic location. The
rooms are modern and well designed, the hotel is nicely appointed for for a mid
price hotel. Easy access to Seattle center and the monorail to get downtown and
Pikes market and most other tourist attractions. If you can get a reservation
here, it's worth it.

The Seattle streets are confusing, but once I figured out the location it was a
good location.
The disruption due to remodeling is minimal, and should be an improvement in
the future.
One thing that the remodel won't be able to hide is the loud plumbing, I
personally don't care to know when someone in another room takes a shower or
flushes.
The convenient location makes this hotel a good value.

Oh dear, was happily going to give this four stars yesterday mainly for location
and cleanliness and comfort of room (not suite) but today they are working on
hotel renovation. The noise is unbelievable and the walls are vibrating with
pneumatic drills. Even the hotel staff are upset by it. They shouldn't be
accepting bookings under these conditions. We've got a reduction but several
people have checked out early as we would have done if we'd had more than one
night to go. Don't book until you can be assured this work is completed.

Overall I was pretty satisfied with the stay at this hotel. We had a two bedroom
suite which was spacious. The bathroom was a good size also. Each room had a TV.
So a total of three in the suite. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Underground
parking was easy to access and secure. The hotel is located within ten minutes
walking distance of the space needle. Free WiFi was available although my
connection dropped sometimes. But overall it was good value for the price.

Just returned from a two day stay with my 8 yr old daughter accompanying me.
Overall I would say this hotel is very good value for money-good location and I
would recommend but only after renos complete.
Oh one more thing QFC around the corner is awesome-bought all our dinners
there-note hot food section closes at 8 pm .

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. I have done a lot of research and finally
picked this hotel for a few reasons. One main reason is location. The hotel is
only 10 mins walk to Space Needle (3 blocks away). There is a QFC one block away
which opens 24 hour and this makes our "food" shopping for our 2 children very
convenient. The gated underground parking was free and plenty during our visit.
We feel safer to park our car in the garage compare to by the street. The
location is safe to walk at night anyway and the surrounding is mostly
residential except for a few body shops. The suite was slightly bigger than a
standard room with a refrigerator and a microwave. The beds were clean and the
room was fairly quiet but not sound proof. We could hear ppl chatting outside
the hallway.
There was a laundry area on the second floor but no pool.
The hotel offers free continental breakfast but the complain I have was during
our visit, the dining area was going through the remodeling and the hotel
offered a breakfast in a bag with fruit juice, granular bar, fruit and muffin.
The management could have done better than offering this type of "cool"
breakfast. We ended up getting the warm breakfast at the nearby shops.
Overall, the hotel is good for the price. The breakfast could have been planned
and managed better during the remodeling. Otherwise, this hotel would get 4
stars from me.

I didn't like the welcoming service by the casually dressed staff personnel who
check us in and seemed not happy to do but our group did check in around 11PM.
The rooms are average looking but clean. The shower head needed to be replaced
but at least there was hot water. The favourite highlight of the hotel was the
free parking and free continental breakfast from 630-930am, which included 3
types of coffee, hot water for tea or oatmeal, yogurt, juice dispenser of
various types, bagels, mini muffins, fruit and a waffle maker. There is also a
24HR QFC and gas station both a block away. This place is also conveniently
close to downtown and highway access. |
