We stayed here 5/27 and loved it. Great room, good rate and close to everything.
We stayed in room 705, a corner suite with a king bed. You can't beat this
place. Great if you are staying over for a show at the Moore or Paramount, or
for shopping, sightseeing. Clean and comfortable and the staff is great. Lots of
good restaurants close by.

Great location for downtown, very comfortable bed, nicely appointed room, small
bathroom but not a problem for me

We originally stayed at The Roosevelt in February as a package deal (hotel,
theatre show, dinner). We, along with other couples, purchased this for
Valentine's weekend. The hotel and dinner were great, however, the wrong tickets
were printed for the show at the Paramount. At first it looked like it was going
to be a disaster, but the Paramount remedied the problem; however, the seats we
received were not comparable as the ones we should have had.
Anyway, long story short, the Roosevelt Coast Hotel and Broadway Across America went
above and beyond what we ever imagined. They gave us complimentary tickets to
another Broadway production at a later date and a complimentary room (upgrade)
at The Roosevelt on the night of the show. We will definitely recommend the
Roosevelt to our friends and family.

We did not enjoy our stay, nor were our issues resolved. Our toilet did not
flush properly during the entire stay...it was disgusting. I actually had to use
the bathroom in the hotel restaurant and go across the street to the mall to
just use a restroom. The hotels response was that this happens because it is an
old building and to call them when it happens. How embarrassing to call to have
your toilet unplugged after every use! This was their best solution even after
asking to change rooms to which I never even received a response to my request.
Upon checkout, the manager said thank you for bringing it to his attention &
engineering will fix it...that sure didn't make my stay any better, nor did it
show me that the manager had any sort of empathy for our situation. The other
issue was a yippy dog in the room next to us...how annoying...again, I
complained but got no response. Hair in the bathroom too-ewww! I would not
recommend this hotel, as I know you can get a better value & experience
elsewhere.

The Jacuzzi Suite was a complete joke. Nice big bed, but the part thats supposed
to be the kicker, The Jacuzzi, was absolutely Filthy! Before I even ran the
water, I could see tons of random pubic hair covering the tub floor. It was
everywhere, even the tub walls and ledge! I don't know about you, but my idea of
a relaxing evening doesn't include cleaning massive amounts of strangers Pubic
Hair out of a bathtub. I used 3 rags to clean it out as I did plan to at least
shower...but when I wiped across the side of the tub and shower tile, the once
white hand-towel, turned a brownish yellow color. Maybe the Roosevelt isnt as
nice as I had built it up to be. But I guess I cant say I was completely
shocked, as my introduction to the Roosevelt should have been a clear indication
of the experience I was walking into... |
