My husband and I booked a little anniversary weekend getaway to Seattle and this
hotel was so perfect. The service was amazing - from valet service to front desk
to concierge. We were touched that they remembered our anniversary. The room was
stunning - took our breath away when we opened the door. We definitely will be
staying here again. You cannot go wrong with this hotel and we walked to Quest
field and back that night - 15 minutes away!

This hotel is located right in the middle of downtown Seattle and is only a few
blocks away from all the great eateries/bars/restaurants/pubs, etc. The staff
are extremely friendly and very accommodating in fulfilling the guests' needs.
The highlight of the stay simply has to be the free wine-tasting offered in the
lobby each evening to guests. There are fabulous Washington wines that you can
sample for an hour which is also the perfect time to talk to fellow-guests and
socialize in a cozy setting by the fireplace. Overall, this hotel is a gem and I
wouldn't miss an opportunity to stay here.

First and foremost, the beds and pillows are wonderful. Very comfortable sleep.
We booked through hotwire and anticipated a small, unpleasant room (from past
experience). Not the case. The room was spotless, spacious and very nice.
The staff were all very accommodating. We arrived on a Friday after their
complimentary wine tasting but were given a coupon for a glass of wine. The
suggestions for dinner were also great (wild ginger).
Also, if you sign up on the Kimpton rewards program Internet is free.
Fantastic weekend trip. We will return.

Great location; easy walking to shopping and restaurants. The staff was
extremely friendly and the nightly wine/social hour was a lot of fun. It was a
great way to meet other guests. Being an InTouch member with Kimpton allowed $10
worth of mini-bar items for free; nice surprise. Animal print bathrobes were
provided; nice not having to bring one along. Not enough drawer space would be
my only complaint and the bathroom was a bit small for the King Premium room.
Great rate for the room; would definitely recommend this hotel and would be my
first choice to return the next time I'm in Seattle.

The hotel was a nice quaint hotel. Free wine tasting in lobby was nice touch but
very crowded and little space to linger about. Room was very small and bed was
on the hard side. We bid through priceline so maybe the smallest rooms go to
priceline customers first. I would say that for the money it was a good deal for
Downtown Seattle. |
