Hotel Review of the Crowne Plaza Hotel Seattle

As I mentioned, this is a nice enough hotel and the staff were helpful and friendly, but I've stayed at much nicer hotels for about the same price in downtown Seattle. Rooms are a little small and could use some updating. We didn't visit the restaurant or bar (based on the reviews I had read), and they were pretty empty. We'll probably stay elsewhere on our next visit.

My parents had given me and my boyfriend a certificate for a night and when I made the reservation I was told that we were going to get two double beds but I asked if possible that I could get a single queen. On check in I was told that I was getting a single queen (maybe it was a king) on the 29th floor. I was AMAZED when I walked into the room on how nice it was! It was alot better than I was expecting. Of course the first thing I do is test the bed and it was probably the most comfortable one I've slept on in a long time. The valet people were really nice and helped me figure out how to avoid traffic areas to get to Pike Place Market and the aquarium. When trying to find how to get to my grandma's apartment the concierge was more than willing to help me with a smile. I think the only problem I had with the stay was the next day we had decided to have breakfast in the restaurant after waiting about 10 minutes for the waiter to acknowledge us we decided to forget about ordering from the menu we may as well do the buffet since it felt like we weren't being paid attention to. The buffet was decent but could've had more for the price I personally feel like if I had taken the same amount I paid for the both of us and taken it somewhere else I could've gotten ALOT better breakfast.

Loved our stay at Crowne Plaza. It was just easy. No hassles, no complaints, great service and very comfortable linens/bed = great nights rest. There was even 2 different thickness of pillows (which is awesome!), eye masks, ear plugs (in case the hint of city noise bothers you) and linen refresher spray.
Service at the bar was just ok....hense why I dropped a notch on the service review but otherwise a wonderful, comfortable stay! Will stay here again!!

I have stayed at the Crowne Plaza-downtown Seattle for years whenever I travel to Seattle. The downtown location is perfect. The hotel is spotless, and the rooms are among the most comfortable hotels rooms I have ever experienced.

As if that weren't enough reason to stay at the Crowne Plaza, there is one member of the front desk staff who has always welcomed me as though she is welcoming a guest into her home. It is the most wonderful experience, especially on the few times I've arrived at the hotel at 1:00 AM after a long day of traveling. Even though she sees me only once or sometimes twice a year, she always remembers me.

The only thing that would make this hotel better would be a sauna, whirlpool, and swimming pool. However, the downtown YMCA is only a short walk away and offers daypasses for about $10.

I would recommend the Crowne Plaza-downtown Seattle without hesitation.
