So Near the U. of Washington and very helpful!
We were able to take the shuttle service to the U of Wash. basketball game and
meet old college friends...everyone was kind and pleasant.
Area recommendations
University of Washington plus the University Village Shopping Mall was fun!

Great for a quick family visit
Stayed here for a night in January with our 2 kids after a long flight. Had a
good night's sleep. Plenty of god restaurants across the street and in nearby
U-village so we were able to walk to everywhere we needed to go. Very friendly
staff.
Area recommendations
This area close to University Village offers convenient shopping and eating. It
feels a little more comfortable than the University District (especially for
those with young kids) but is just a 3-min drive to the University. It is quite
generic so if you want more authentic Seattle head to the area near Pike Place
Market, say...A

Clean, comfortable and convenient--the Silver Cloud--University did a fine job
of meeting my needs while I was in Seattle visiting family in the Greenlake
area. There aren't as many hotel choices in this northern section of the city.
My relatives, who live near the hotel, recommended it and said that they often
put up out-of-town guests there. While the Silver Cloud wasn't cheap, the lowest
price I could get for my room was $129, it was more than adequate and included a
substantial breakfast. The king size bed was comfortable, the room was
immaculately clean, and the hotel was just a short walk from the extensive
University Village shopping complex. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. |
