Very difficult to find unless you know Seattle as attempting to use maps on
iPhone was leading us to odd locations! (even the manager said this happens)
Brand new place, minimalist decor, secure key- card front entry and elevator. A
small bar and 24 hr food available at the front desk. No room service. Nice
little breakfast included in your stay.
A 24 hr available van to take you and pick you up within 1 mile radius- perfect
as this location is a little sketchy. Not an issue walking during the day, but
the night brings some nerves for some.
Hyatt Place Seattle Downtown Beautiful, clean pool! Rooms are awesome with an L
shape couch, mini fridge, large walk in shower ( no tub) fresh smelling soap,
shampoo and tooth paste and a multi media panel for all your tech filled needs.
Yes, very clean and Yes, wonderful staff!

Five of us stayed in the suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. Couch was
a sectional separated by a small wall from the beds. Small fridge and some
storage. 3.5 foot salt water pool was nice and the exercise facility is good.
Complimentary breakfast is probably the best we have had with a good selection.
Staff is accommodating and professional. Paying to park was a little steep and
brought our nightly cost to over $200 which we would not normally pay but it was
nice to walk to Space Needle, Pacific Science Center, Experience Music Project
and Space Needle. The Hyatt Place Seattle Downtown Hotel also offers a free
Shuttle with a limited radius.
Walking around the neighborhood at night can be a little sketchy for young kids
and females.
There is a Walgreens across the street we found handy. Quick drive up to the Zoo
and really close to Pikes Place Market area.
We found a great Mexican Place! Mamas Kitchen on Bell and 2nd, we got take out
and I walked from the Hotel in less than 10 minutes, I am from San Diego and
this food was great!
Overall a great experience at the Hyatt Place Seattle Downtown but expensive.

Our room at the Hyatt Place Seattle was very spacious. Has a large corner couch
and sitting area. Small refrigerator was nice to have. Wish they had a
microwave. Teeny tiny closet. $20.00 parking per night seemed a little steep.
What is it with hotels charging $150 a night and you still have to pay to park
your car? They did have a very nice free breakfast....wonderful breakfast
sandwiches changing every day. 2 blocks from space needle. |
