The Maxwell Hotel Seattle artistic design and furnishings were so cheerful. The bathroom was one of the best I have ever had. The shower was spacious and great water pressure. The hair dryer was state of the art. Coffee maker with real cream was great. Bed and linens were wonderful. Although the monorail which brings you right to the heart of the city is a short walk, the hotel offers a free shuttle service which was wonderful. Nearby are some great places for breakfast (Pesos and Toulouse Petite Restaurant). The Rock (bar) is a nice place for a drink and a light snack. The staff was so helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly go back if we ever return to Seattle.

Our room at The Maxwell Hotel was large and comfortable. The beds have pillow top mattresses and nice crisp sheets. The towels are thick and thirsty and there were plenty of them.
The room had hardwood floors with a rug in the bed area. There is an entry alcove before actually entering the room space that makes the bed area more private. The walk-in shower was large and we enjoyed the soap and shampoo dispensers on the wall rather that individual small bottles.
The tiny pineapple cupcakes in the Maxwell Hotel lobby in the afternoon were a nice treat as was the coffee in the lobby and the Kurig coffee maker in the room.

The Maxwell Hotel Seattle provides free parking in their underground garage.

I would have given the Maxwell Hotel Seattle five stars, were it not for the fact that it can get a little noisy due to the un-carpeted floors and slamming doors in the hallways. But let me tell you, this place has perks that made up for it. The mattresses and pillows were SO COMFY. Keurig coffeemakers in the rooms, real creamer, not the powder stuff, raw sugar. Golf umbrellas hanging in the closet...we used those every day. Fluffy towels and lots of them. Huge flat screen tv. Room service pizza from The Rock on-site (not great pizza, but it was very convenient and they'll bill your room). A free shuttle that took us downtown and would have picked us up too, if we had wanted. Pet friendly, and not just lap dogs under 25 pounds either, they will allow big dogs, which I have, so that made me happy. Also, the room was spotless. Staff was very accommodating. Walking distance to lots of restaurants, the Metropolitan Market, etc. I parked my vehicle in their free onsite parking and walked everywhere the entire time I was there. Just a great place to stay, and I will be back.

Maxwell Hotel Seattle is a Very comfortable hotel, offering large clean and modern rooms in a quiet location. The hotel isn't right in the centre of Seattle but the monorail is a 5 min walk away and there is a supermarket close by also along with the Space needle and music museum( can't remember the exact name). You can walk to the main shopping district and pike place market if you don't mind a 25 minute walk or so. There is a big and busy affordable restaurant downstairs. Nice little touches like a microwave in the room and popcorn to enjoy your big screen tv with. Overall a great place to stay in Seattle.
