I have now stayed at this hotel on three occasions, as the location across from
Lake Union is Fantastic. And it is within walking distance of Seattle Center and
the street car line to downtown.
And I like the public areas and the staff. But what I didn't like the past trip
to the hotel was the first room we got assigned didn't have a working phone. The
2nd room didn't have a working toilet, and finally, the 3rd room worked.. But
there is NO excuse for rooms being assigned that weren't in top flight
condition. And for that reason, I give it a POOR rating overall.
And worse than that, I am not likely to return. Which is unfortunate, as in the
past I would of given the property an "Very Good" or "Excellent" rating. But not
this time around.
And parking costs $20 per night.

This Courtyard by Marriott is right across the street from Lake Union with great
views of the lake and beyond. Watch the seaplanes land and take off from the
lake constantly. Lots of great restaurants nearby and it's a short walk to Space
Needle. Had a great stay here.

Small, clean room which served its purpose, but the service and the amenities of
the hotel are dire.
Staff allowed numerous people to push in front of us at the desk and offered
little enthusiasm for the job. Restaurant attached was tired and the menu,
standard.

I only stayed one night at this hotel and it was a Saturday night. The room was
clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was OK. Not much around; you
really would need a car to get around. The front desk folks were very friendly
and greeted me warmly when I checked in. The view out of my window was fine. I
had a nice view of the Space Needle and of course, all the construction going on
all around Seattle. But that was no fault of the hotel. There is an onsite
restaurant, which I did not use.
My only complaint is the parking situation. It is $20 per night to park and the
garage is underground and not so easy to access.
TV was a large screen high definition with HD channels. That was a definite plus
as I've stayed in many a hotel with HD TVs that offer no HD channels.
Overall, a decent, clean place to stay. Don't expect luxury but do expect a good
night's sleep.

beautiful hotel by the waterfront. The restaurants were modest, the staff are
very nce and the rooms are clean. I attended a meeting here, the
classrooms/auditoriums were not as up to date.
It is near Pikes market and the restaurants there

This hotel is comfortable, clean and well located. nothing about this place is
pretentious. Our experience (corner room floor 12) was good. a little street
noise but not disturbing and only noise from neighbouring rooms was of doors
closing. Very well placed for trams and Amtrak and downtown. Staff very friendly
and helpful. Would stay there again.
Room Tip: corner room for a view, but that is not so special. Complimentary
Internet is an asset. High floor possibly reduces street noise which is not
excessive in any case. Oak St. probably a bit quieter than 6th Avenue

Stayed at the Lake union courtyard for one week; this hotel is well appointed
and has everything you'd expect from a courtyard.
one thing I didn't like too much: $20 / day for parking -- no overnight parking
anywhere close. the restaurant was very very average

Good location, friendly staff, clean rooms, parking is a little high, but you
are close to downtown Seattle. |
